Tuo on niiiiin tuttu fiilis. Ei muutakuin voimia vaan sinne, nää kaksatkut opettaa nöyräksi. Esim 245:n takaluukku kyllä muistuttaa, jos et kumarru ennen konttiin kömpimistä... muutaman kerran päänahka rullaantu ennenkuin oppi nöyräksi volvovanhuksen kanssa :D

Itestäkin tuntuu vähän siltä, että tää video on vanhempaa matskua, eli kuvattu ennen burnisvideoo. Tuli kuitenkin viikko sitten nähtyä kyseinen laite ajossa ja näytti toimivan :) Hyvä video kuitenkin!

Always setbacks working on car, both big and small but don't let them stop working if the car still makes you happy at the end of the day. I can't even count how many times I've wanted to smash out my windows with a breaker bar when I break a part or hit a major set back. Hopefully i'll get a chance to take a trip from New Hampshire to see your car someday.

When I see a new Bamse's Turbo Underpants video in my subscription box, just YUS. They have that driveway feel of old Mighty Car Mods videos (not saying I don't enjoy their new stuff), but well, Scandinavian shenanigans instead of Aussie. Awesome all the same. Much respect, watching this from California. :) Also, how haven't you been flagged with copywrite with all the music playing in the background? Most KZreadrs I know freak out when even the smallest bit gets into their videos from fear of the videos being taken down or un-monetized.

Nakutus on sitä kun polttoaineseos sylinterissä syttyy yhdellä kertaa kauttaaltaan niin että palonopeus kasvaa paljon korkeammaksi kuin se normaalisti olisi. Polttoaine "räjähtää" eikä pala, niinkuin se normaalisti tekee. Paine nousee terävämmin ja hetkellinen huippupaine on tavallista korkeampi. Siitä tulee suurempi rasitus, eikä tarvi ajaa montaakaan kymmentä kilometriä kun saattaa moottorin kansi haljeta, tai ventiilit palavat rikki, tai jotain muuta mukavaa jonka takia yleensä koko kone menee solmuun. Moottorissa otetaan yleensä sytytysennakkoa, että polttoaine ehtii syttyä kunnolla. Jos kone nakuttaa, niin koko seos humahtaa ennen kuin mäntä ehtii yläkuolokohdan ohi ja se iskee kampiakselia vasten kun mäntä on vielä menossa ylös. Veikkaisin että voi mennä myös kampi poikki.

I had similar problem, sound, could not identify from where it was coming.. Then i took simple copper tube from house heating, and used it as a stethoscope, and found from where the sound was coming without riping the engine apart.... in my case, sound comes from injectors, and intake plenum amps up the sound somehow.. you can allso use a knock sensor with an amp in middle for headphones to do the same thing, just have to listen and sort out the sounds from diffrent spots of engine good luck!

my m20b25 made that noise when the cam belt tensioner bearing was bad. Sounded only when idling. Not saying that it´s the fault, but it´s an easy check :)

I've decided after seeing so many struggle with crazy modifications, your best bet is a junkyard motor and a big turbo, if that won't do it change to a motor that takes upgrades better, none of these aftermarket parts fit together as well as volvo did from the factory. good luck, sounds bottom end to me

Jos se kierroksilla häviää niin eikaise alakerrasta ainakaan itsellä ole kuulunut. Ootko ottanu huomioon että se voi kuulua vaikka mistä muualta :D Joku löysällä ja naputtelee. Stetoskooppi / kepinpätkä käyttöön ja kuuntelemaan mistä kuuluu. Hihnojen yms kiristimet voi naputella, joku lämpösuoja. Vaan taisi tämä video olla ihan vain kuumotusmielessä tehty ja seuraavassa vika onkin jo löydetty :D

mika moilanen itsellä oli kerrasta niin väljä että kun alkoi naputtaa niin naputti koko kierrosalueella. Öljynpaineet laski puoleen normaalista

minun ikuisuusprojekti e30 kuuluu sama naputus. ja kannessa on kaikki muut uutta paitsi nokkaakseli ja sen laakerit. mutta noissa natsipulkissa kai tuo naputus on ominaisuus :D mikähän lie, en oo jaksanu kovemmin perehtyäkkään asiaan edes.

Enpähän minä näistä mitään tiedä, mutta haluanpahan kuitenkin sanoa, että epäilen männän kiertokangen alapuoliskon ruuvien väljyyttä tuollaisesta klaksatuksesta. Kiertokankki pääsee vähän kolisemaan kampiakselilla ylös ja alas ja aiheuttaa kyseisen äänen. Mille tämä veikkaus sitten pohjautuu? Omasta Sunnystä kuului samanmoista klaksatusta, kun ajoin moottoritiellä, tosin silloin kierroksia oli pari kerrointa enemmän, ja melkein kotipaikan lähellä sitten moottori sanoi, että PÄRRRRRRRRÄTS POKS PUM! ja kiertokanki oli tullut öljypohjasta lävitse samalla halkaisten koko lohkon säpäleiksi, kun oli onnistunut kampeamaan männän poikittain sylinteriin. Itse mäntäkin meni sitten siinä sen tuhannen säpäleiksi. :) Tai sitten on kiertokangen laakeri. Ei voi tietää. :P

Fuuck man, this sucks :/ and I really understand you, last year when I assembled my new engine It was just the same, I fucked up main bearings (installed STD instead or 1st repair size..my fault :D), and had to take it apart again :/

Sounds like detonation. Higher octane feul can resolve this problem.

You can see that the paint on the exhaust manifold has burnt off in the burnout video, while it still on in this. So I'm guessing the burnout video was edited quickly maybe because Tupla wanted to. And Eetzi probably has a lot of footage from before that, that he is still editing.

I just found and subscribed this channel recently, but come on... Why does it take you so long to finally decide to strip and check the engine? I rebuilt my gearbox last year with only a small jack and basic, shitty tools... I was so happy to have it put back together only to find out the input shaft seal was malfunctioning after I even put in a new clutch and had my flywheel resurfaced. I was absolutely gutted and knackered from lying on my cold and dirty garage floor, but dove right in, torn it all apart and started all over again...

Kk-laakeri vialtahan toi ihan kuullostaa.. Itellä kävi juurikin ihan samalteen T5 koneen kanssa.

Kristoffer Lilja it does, but i don't think you can detonate at idle speed, engine would run very poorly and most likely stall... Since this engine is running smooth, i don't think it's detonation.

ERK77VI an engine can run alright at idle even if its pinging, and yea it can ping at idle it kinda depends on whats causing it. Dont confuse pinging with pre-ignition, its not the same thing. Judging by the sound and how it comes on and off and isnt consistant with revs I doubt its mechanical so pinging is probably a fairly safe bet.
