I run internal combustion engines on gas produced from Bamboo. Although this is a valid effort, there is a universe room for improvement to obtain more products besides "Vinegar" and charcoal. I would also be very careful with placing plastic in the retort. If plastics are used containing Halides like PCV you are going to make a dangerous mess.
