Hi, thank you so much for the videos they’re amazing. I just have a quick question, in the textbook it says chlorine and NaOH form NaClO, not NaClO3, what is the difference and will they accept either?

Depends on the conditions. Cold dilute NaOH gives NaClO Hot conc NaOH gives NaClO3 Hope that helps 😀
