This recipe is so yummy! My daughter & I made and both loved them! Do you think I could add citric acid to make them a bit more tart or would that totally throw off the baking chemistry? 🤔

When you add the sugar to the lemon zest, is that the caster and powdered or just the caster please?

Can I use vegetable oil instead of butter?

Did I see you use browned butter, too?

My dough didn't set the way it does in the video and the cookies didn't hold the shape very good, but they have very good flavor and they're cakey for sure ^_^

Just made these and mine expanded too much as well. I live in a warm place, so my dough ended up being too soft even after refrigeration.
