Getting rid of him for Watson was one of the dumbest things they did..Watson is better athletically, but Baker is a better leader and smarter with reads. Not to mention, Watson's suspension came a year they had all the right pieces to make a decent run at the playoffs

As a Browns fan, Baker truly is a great leader, a character and one of the most charismatic guys in the NFL right now. He's also hugely talented, but for one reason or another, he never put it together long-term. I do believe that whichever team finds a way to make him more stable and reliable is going to end up with a franchise QB. Whether that's Tampa or not, we'll see, but I do hope it is. He deserves success and Tampa deserves Baker at this best... which is really, really good.

Honestly, I didn't know anything about Mayfield except that he had been with a few teams since being drafted, but so far what I've seen during training camp and this first game I really like his aggressive style. He appears to be taking this opportunity in Tampa as a fresh start and seems to want to play here for a long time and we need that in Tampa.

I had my doubts about Baker but you can see he is a leader, love his grit!

Bakers leadership and intensity is going to really help this team out. Easily another 10+ win season this year heading into the playoffs despite the schedule being on the difficult side on paper, just based on this team performance alone compared to how all the other teams in our division. The only L I see in the first 5 games is possibly the Eagles, though they looked shaky against the Patriots which is somewhat condemning of their prowess from last year. As far as the rest of the schedule goes, the hardest games are the Bills, 49ers, Jaguars, and the Packers if they keep performing like their week 1 game. As far as our division goes. Panthers looked BAD BAD against the Falcons who also looked rather terrible. Saints struggled against the Titans. We just beat the division champs of the NFC North in a very convincing way on their home turf, even though it was only a 3-point lead. Completely shut their star receiver out in the 2nd half, caused multiple turnovers but didn't let any go on our end.

Man I miss that guy. So happy to see him still the same guy just ballin'. (Cleveland fan) Good luck Bake!

Been a Baker fan since college. He absolutely ended up in a dumpster fire by being drafted by the Browns. The guy is a natural leader and I am glad he has found a good team with a stable organizational culture.
