​@@LeafararrabiDos09 I've seen Dak play in seven playoff games and only play well in one of them. I've seen Mayfield play in four playoff games and play well in all of them with the exception of one bad throw at the end of one of them. I'd take Baker in the playoffs over Dak

Honestly. Tampa should be 10-7 or even 11-6. The defense sold on the team in at least 2 games this season in the end.

Baker will never get the credit he deserves. There are throws in here that would go viral if they were any Mahomes or Allen / Lamar. Baker has the potential to be a perennial top 7-10 QB in the league.

Guaranteed he’s up there for a comeback player of the year award And he’s guaranteeing to return for 2024 , he absolutely should be up there for that 💰

There are those players who may not be HoF material, but they're clearly NFL material. Mayfield's one of those guys. The fact that he was able to drag the Browns to 11-5 and into Divisional should have made that clear. Leading a 9-8 Bucs to Divisional leaves no doubt.

The man is only 28 and going back to his first year of college he has had the least consistency around him out of probably any qb in the pros what we saw from him his rookie year, the browns playoff season, his rams season and what were seeing now and saw in college I would bet on him being a HOFer. He has a huge chip on his shoulder and I think hes capable of winning a ring.

He keeps performing the way he does and those are HoF stats. Do the math he's on par if not better than some HoF QBs if he can stay consistent and healthy. Has to do something big too though so I know what you mean. If he can win a Super Bowl or two it'd be crazy

He brought Cleveland back from dinosaur bones to the playoffs and even won a playoff game against their arch nemesis Pittsburgh. And then after bouncing around takes Tom Brady's old team to the playoffs and gets another playoff victory blowing out last year's SB runner-up Philadelphia in the wild card. I don't know what more people want from this guy. He's not a Tier One (Jackson, Mahomes, Burrow, etc.), but he's definitely better than Mr. Guaranteed Money Watson in Cleveland.

I think the crazy part is we didn't get blown out by the lions in the playoffs, we put up a fight and it was easily winnable, especially with a lions team that tossed a 24 point lead to the niners

I think the talks about Mayfield's future should have ended now. The Buccaneers should keep him for the next couple of years and try to solve their specific manpower problems in other positions in the draft.

As a Bucs fan, this is pretty much the exact local sentiment and from the looks of things public statement wise, this seems to be what is going to happen.

Don’t forget that PERFECT Hail Mary pass he threw in that buffalo game! Perfect ball, Godwin just didn’t see it.

I am still convinced had he not thrown the interception against Detroit that game was going to overtime or they were winning

Really, Baker is the only guy who could follow Tom Brady and win over his teammates, coaches and fans like that. What a total beast. Bucs are lucky to have him.

Baker Mayfield is a comeback player who established himself as a veteran. He went from being drafted first overall by the Browns to be traded to the Los Angeles Rams last season. This season, he became a revelation for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as he finished with 4,044 yards, 28 touchdowns and 10 touchdowns. He built a strong foundation for continued success. He has resurrected his career by replacing a legend and a future Hall of Famer like Tom Brady and leading the Bucs to a third straight division title.

That offensive coordinator did a hell of a job in letting Baker play to his strengths. If more coaches did that with players instead of trying to make them into what they want them to be lots of guys wouldn’t have lost their dream

As a Sooner fan, I'm a fan of Mayfield wherever he goes. I knew someone would get him eventually and he can have a great career. Where better than Tampa 😅

I don't understand this narrative from delusional Browns fans of "we had to get Watson because Baker was good but not good enough." Has Watson gotten further than Baker has in the playoffs? Has he won as many playoff games as Baker has? The answer to both questions is no. For Baker's flaws, Watson runs around like a rodeo clown and takes yards off the board, and takes needless sacks. And then they say, "well Watson WOULD HAVE beaten Kansas City if not for Houston's defense." NO. Houston scored 24 of their 31 total points in the first half. They were only down 10 going into the fourth quarter. And they didn't score the rest of the game. They couldn't put more points on the board against the Chiefs, who are known for lighting it up? Gimme a break. Baker was the real deal and the Clowniacs kicked him to the curb for a predator. Now they're paying the price in more ways than one.
