This action is so cool. I love finding these rare and unusual weapons. My favourite models are western guns.

Great to see someone has picked up with George Hoenig's concept. It would be a shame if the ones George made were the only ones (now he has stopped making them)

Bailey is making me one, with 2 barrels, one in 7x65r and 9.3x74r! The 7x65r will have a full mannlicher forehand and the 9.3 a regular stalking forehand! I can’t wait to have it in my hands!! Thanks for the video it was great!

It is an honor. His rifles are beautiful, but it is a higher honor to know upstanding men such as Bailey Bradshaw.

Amazing rifle...and Bailey is an amazing craftsman/artist. Who else can build a complete rifle of this nature, without farming anything out beyond the boring and rifling of the barrel?

They are actually rising blocks. Bailey put a twist on the falling block design by making a rising block. At first it doesn't seem to make any difference, but after seeing it in person, I prefer the rising block!

I guess the old saying of "If you have to ask how much it costs,,, you cannot afford it" would be the case with that fine looking rifle. Nice review. Have you test fired it yet? I was not aware of such a mechanism, and I have several copies of G.D., S.B. and many different firearms and hunting magazines going back to the 1930's. Probably make a good article to double check for / read one of these upcoming wintry days.

Thanks for watching and commenting! I did get a chance to fire it and it was only a hair to the left after just slapping the scope on it- no bore sighting done at all. They might be more affordable than you think! Bailey is a very reasonable man and a true gentleman to work with.

I still would like to know how much it costs. Then you know how much you need to save up. I would love to own one of these but I don't know if I would be able to ship it to Sweden.

Nowhere near that. I just ordered a Rising Block, which is more expensive than the rotary, and the Rising Block was under $10k. @@MatthewPerlee

I still haven’t been able to get my hands on a Hoenig rifle yet. I think having either one would make the owner proud. The question comes down to cost, and to that end I think the scale is in Bradshaw’s favor. He will build it anyway the customer desires. Even without handling a Hoenig, I can’t imagine the Hoenig rifle being a step above what Bradshaw produces.
