I like to put it this way: “People in Australia aren’t taught how to drive, they’re taught how to pass a test”. Purely due to the fact that, compared to other countries (mainly some European countries, where they have mandatory advanced/defensive driving courses), our process for getting a licence is too easy, resulting in our roads being filled with many incompetent drivers.

The blue car was in a "merge right" (merge rules apply, give way to traffic in the right lane) not a "form X lane" (zipper merge, give way to the car more in front and can not accelerate to get in front). There is dead easy way to tell which merge type it is. If there are dashes close together on the road it is a lane merging. If the lane divide simply ends then it is a zipper merge. Simples. Either way roaring up to be in front is illegal and automatically puts you at fault.

Every 6 cyl Commo and Falcon in Goulburn has this exhaust! You can hear them all day and all night! As well as crappy 4 cyl diesels with no mufflers it’s driving me mad lol!

1:47 it has always facilitated me like in this clip, the optical illusion the flooded road ahead looks higher than where the dc car is & the road in between isn’t flooded. Just an odd observation which I can’t think off hand of the technical term.

I wonder if we compared total # of accidents in left-hand street countries, to total in right-hand, if a difference would be made clear. The shit we see in aussieland (and russia, etc) are of a calibre we don't see in USA. and usa is basically fucking gta 5. So this says something , to me anyway.

Australia only has a bit over 25,000,000 and the USA has over 330,000,000...we have so many more people to act like idiots on the roads! Plus, the population of the USA is really spread from coast to coast, no big empty middle of the country...a bit more spaced out there, but still many bigger cities.

​@@artmallory970 I reckon it's more the small matter of the white hatchback crossing the double lines. I can't make out what the arrow looks like on the sign, but the van is more than 3m from the intersection and 3m from the double lines so could actually be ok.

@2:46 have 4 of them here in Leeton and they are 6 cylinder just lap and speed lap speed, lap speed, lap speed and so on just stupid sound non stop they don't believe in peace and quiet just as bad as the dirt bikes screamin around no clue what the police are doin from Griffith and Leeton seems they are not doin their job anymore or might be less? WHO knows.. We miss the police patrolling the streets around here. LOL speak of them cars haha they are startin up again..
