6.03 can't figure out what happened there. Either the lane narrowed or the cam did the old swerve to the right of your lane (or even into the next lane) to make the left turn manuver. LOL Please people stop doing this you are not driving a semi so its NOT necessary you can make the turn normally!!!!!

The police will sometimes respond, without lights and sirens, to a DV situation to avoiding aggravating the attacker and making things worse, before they even get to the door.

The government should supply...... free of charge , pre-programmed smart dash cams to all cars and they would automatically detect a traffic infringement etc by any car and the device will then immediately upload to the RTA / Police / relevant authorities automatically and immediately !! ( On occasions driver's may have to manually do it if the dash cam has missed something ! ) And maybe as an incentive to upload footage , ( obviously the clip is legit traffic issues and not just any crap !) driver's may receive a $10 discount on their rego! Which could really be quite a great perk because if you catch a few dodgy incidences etc you can end up with a great rego discount !! ( With restrictions and limits and conditions of course !) I can tell you now that it's a win/win because the government will recoup their outlay probably within 12months ( it will practically pay for itself and then some in numerous ways !) and without a doubt people will absolutely definitely start to behave themselves and drive much more sensibly, lawfully and carefully etc and the roads will be so much safer, less accidents, lives saved and the positives are incalculable !! Essentially you are being watched 24/7 and if you are a dickhead and break the law , you WILL be caught and get constant massive fines, lose points and licence very quickly !! the people I hate most on motorways and freeways are the people who when merging onto the freeway fling themself into the right lane immediately and the people who will slow down or outright stop on the merge lane because they got their licence out of the breakfast carton as a price.

I think the intent is a "traffic calming" feature, ment to slow you the hell down. Myself, I would straighted out the curves too, (and have done so) but not when there's other traffic present.

Hi Andrew yes that rule is the same all over AUS , the point of of it is if " it is reasonable that the provision should not apply " and & "it is reasonable- (a) not to display the light or sound the alarm" if police car is parked on divider catching speeders or stops on road to foot chase a criminal or is on the phone then yes no lights needed but if they have to speed , run a red light or here over take on shoulder single lane road on the left they shoulder have lights and sirens to alert that driver who could turn into them and crash , the lights and sirens would have made the DC driver move left or they could overtaking on eth the other , i sent this to the police complaints Dep waiting on reply

Hi Shaun so in AUS we have 2 types of merging , zip merge type same rules as yours give way to car ahead and the 2nd type a lane ends merge as at 14:19 where instead to 2 lanes forming one like the zip merge , one lane ends and that lane must crossing the broken lane lines in these setup the car in the ending lane must always give way doesn't matter if they are in front or behind , so here the Ranger had to give way to the red but didn't :)

if I'm not mistaken, in the last cllip with the 2 older ladys, they had a crosswalk 5 m to there left, where they could cross safly, and still walked right into traffic. can't realy see why ppl value there life & safty soo little.
