Can we all take it a bit easy on some people in city traffic who may not know all the turns and where they are, But that Black Delivery Van cutting the guy off for no reason ! He can get Fudged.

In fairness at a lane ends merge, people should be using all of each lane, and not moving over so early. It should then zipper at the point of the lane merge. If you move over in anything more than very light traffic the moment you first see the sign, you are causing traffic.

Yeah good theory, but you fall back on the rule in doubt and that is yielding to traffic already in the lane you want to be in. You don’t speed up all the way and force your way in that also causes traffic cause every other car behind has to slow down and let you in. So you fall back on the rule of yielding to traffic in the lane you want.

SBTF was a Queenslander. For us the keep left rule is just a suggestion.

Apart from an apparent shortage of blinker fluid in Qld.(regretfully, it has even impacted drivers of Toyota, GM, and Ford vehicles) there appears to be an underlying blindless of Qld drivers to accept or understand road rules. "Surely that does not apply to me?". "I am a Queenslander!!!. I will go where and when I want."

That’s just the way they drive in Queensland. God given right to drive in the right hand lane. And yes they always speed up when you can overtake them.

4:20, Yes an illegal filter on the kerb side, could have gone up between the cars quite legally but it looks like the gear on the back of the bike may have been too wide to do so, I have similar problem with the panniers on my bike being about 800 mm wide, so I just stay in the lane leaving an escape route to defend against morons that may try to crush me between themselves and the vehicle in front, had to use that strategy a few times. Don't lane filter very much as you tend to get some four wheel morons with low IQ's try and cut you off and yell at you about road rules when they themselves don't know the rules. Generally best not to aggravate the idiots so you can actually enjoy the ride. Ride Safe & Stay Upright. Cheers.

That’s not a rule. The car wanting to pass must always yield to traffic in the lane of traffic it wants to enter. As annoying is it may be when someone speeds up to prevent your pass, you still have to give way to them. Same goes for situations where the lane is ending. Always give way to traffic in the lane you’re going into, regardless of speed.

so yes in reference to that there are no rules or restrictions on when you’re being overtaken on a multiple lane road there is a rule sunshine people mix where if you’re at a single lane road and someone goes onto the other side of the road overtake you you’re not allowed to speed up to impede them but in the clip in the video it’s not a rule that he couldn’t speed up but there is a rule that has they cannot go over the speed limit and they try to stop me changing lanes as they did

“BUS ONLY” lanes should be illegal. Let’s face it, if traffic is flowing smoothly there would be no need for bus only lanes as all traffic (including buses) would be able to travel freely at the posted speed limit and buses could meet their schedules. The one and only reason to create a bus only lane is that the traffic is so congested that without dedicated bus lanes buses would not be able to stay on schedule. So what’s the solution to the traffic congestion? Why, let’s shut off an entire lane and make the congestion worse. Genius.
