Australian bacon didn't get a shout out though, anyway for those interested here's a description. Australian Middle Bacon is a leaner cut. Cut from the fatty pork belly, Australian middle bacon cuts also include a piece of the leaner loin of the pig. The bacon has what looks like a tail and is typically longer than US cuts of bacon. So it's basically the whole long streaky bacon with the Canadian bacon still attached

Most likely because most of us assume that producers of turkey bacon try very hard to imitate pork bacon. And he saw how much effort went into (A) that producer's imitation . However, he didn't have knowledge of what distinguishes quality turkey bacon and bad quality. Ergo, it was an incorrect assumption.

Nolly Polly, peameal bacon is back bacon that hasn’t been smoked, but has been rolled in peameal after the brine. English bacon is just the best of both worlds as ours (back bacon) is very lean.
