My job as a chef at Pendleside Hospice is to make our patients anything they want,(if I have the ingredients) we chef's go to see them each day, it's a very humbling experience, but also very satisfying. Hi Adam, sorry for your loss, last year lost really Dear mate to prostate cancer, its bloody rank. Did the cheese potato bake today, it was total Yum. Mogs looks a lovely boy, I've got a Siamese girl,Misty, she rules both of us . Cheers , looking forward to trying more of your recipes, Michael loves them ;-}

Hi Adam thank you for such a lovely recipe. I wish I had some now. My condolences to you for your friend Pete. I am now 67 years old (which i find impossible to believe) but have also lost a number of friends and relatives and it is not easy. Getting older can be such a shit!! However, watching your videos and trying new cooking ideas does give me respite. Take care and thanks again.

This just popped up and I had to watch it as I’ve become quite a fan of yours. I’m sorry for the loss of your Uncle Pete, who sounds like an amazing guy. Thank you for this yummy looking recipe, and the tips that’ll make it just right (like using new potatoes instead of my usual Yukon Golds). It’s wonderful to learn where Mogs came from, that lovely cat! As always, I will look up this week’s video.

I'm very sorry for your loss Adam, I myself lost my Mom,(Pancreatic) and my oldest brother (Lung) to Cancer it's a horrible disease no matter where it strikes in the body. We're glad you're back my friend.

Feel for u sorry for the loss I’ve made a very very similar meal but using white sauce there’s a fancy name for the sauce but who cares (unless you’re American trying to be a chef (or French) )

Great minds think alike as I made something simular this week as for cats they take a message and get back with you ......📬😺

You could leave it out entirely or some chicken browned off would work nice too.

Ah yes Tina, you could use something like lemon juice, or maybe a splash of vinegar. Should do the trick 🙂

You could use stock instead which makes it lighter. I'd use chicken stock
