Sharon....what a great idea, sweetheart. I've got a planner for everything lol why not have a garden planner.

It is so nice to get out in the garden after a long, cold winter. I created two new beds last week and filled them yesterday, waking up to a frost this morning. I hope the new plants survive. I look forward to your next video, planting is always fun.

You've definitely motivated me to get outside Robin - except the weather still isn't warm enough here in Ontario yet - it still dips down to -0 overnight here 😥I'll be sure to play the video again when I need some motivation😃 So when it comes to getting more soil for your gardens Robin, instead of paying a crazy amount of $$ for individual bags, do you guys not have garden centers near you that can dump a whole box full of soil into your truck bed ? (or 1/2 a box full) Around here that what we do and its much more economical - just a thought to share. PS I'm glad there weren't too many critters - I completely understand your thoughts there !!! 🤣Have a great rest of your week🌻💛

Oh my gosh, I am a repeat offender when it comes to 'weeding out' the seeds and plants I planted LOL I get so mad at myself after I realize it wasn't a weed! Your neighbors dog is a sweetheart! Watching you weed the garden bed made me wish there was a fast motion button in real life...Great motivation in this video, now I feel like I need to get out in the garden. Hope all is well with you my friend!

Robin I have to say I enjoy all of your videos but I love your outdoor videos the most. I love doing yard work also. I was so happy to see your Dusty Miller plants. I have them and I didn’t know the name of them. I’ve broken them up and spreaded them around my back deck. So thank you for letting me know what they were. 😂

Hi Robin.Every year as a homeowner there is always SO MUCH to do outside!!!Its aloy of work !The flowerbeds and the lawn where grass needs to grow. Years ago my husband did sod and alot of watering!!Look forward to seeing your flowerbed when you are done!!!Your back sitting area is really nice!! Happy planting!!😁👍

Thanks for the motivation! I have also been working in my flower beds, but this weather in Missouri has been so crazy, I can't plan from one day to the next. I am making progress though, and I enjoyed watching you do what I have been doing. I also love wind chimes and hummingbirds!

You are doing the job I need to be out doing. That is my goal for the next week or so. My husband and I are busy putting out our vegetable garden. Down at the property line in our back yard is full of honeysuckles. I remember picking them as a kid and getting the juice out of them. Thanks for the inspiration. I’m loving this time of year. Your yard will look great.

I have my most of my flower beds done. Every morning I drink my coffee and walk my flower beds looking for weeds. I pull them as soon as I see one. It doesn’t take long for them to multiply. A lot of work but so so so rewarding! I look forward to seeing how they turn out to be!

I LOVE Wind chimes. At my old house I had one that hung near my front door. Well apparently one of the neighbour's did not like it. I woke one day to find the centre piece that creates the sound had been cut off and left in my garden. I reattached it and once again was able to enjoy the sound of the chimes. No less than a week later once again, no chimes, and upon investigating, it had been cut again, but this time, they took it with them.

Great job Robin! I just love the yellow shrub you picked up and I look forward to seeing how it grows. I remember as a child picking the honeysuckle flowers and drinking the sweet juice from them. You were fortunate on the snakes, we live in a subdivision near a creek and have dealt with baby copperheads and baby rattlesnakes. Looking forward to watching more planting! 😊❤😊🌼🪴🍃

You're a brave woman Robin, whenever I do my flower gardens I make my husband or something beside me with a shovel because I am terrified of snakes, and so far this year my cat has brought me to and had them on the front porch

Love watching your gardening videos, make me want to get outside every time. I would be terrified to get my hands in there as well and especially after that toad it would of been a ok I'm done 😂😂. Costco mums always come back I've had mine for 5 years

Weeding is hard work but so satisfying. It’s like vacuuming our yard. I broke my wrist a month ago so it’s a like slow going for me. I have a few more weeks before I’m fully healed but looking forward to working on my beds!

Oh Robin we’re in the country in Decatur. Just after we moved in I was walking around the house & heard a sound that I knew I should know. (growing up in Pennsylvania I never had to worry about such things) I stoped in my tracks & looked up… the rattler was head up & booking to the woods behind our house, he went that way and I ran the other! 😫

@@RobinLaneLowe they’re awful! We have woods behind our house & we were the first house on the land since then there are 10 other homes. We have 2 acres. I am always on alert when out in the yard which is not often! 😳 There are also wild hogs that come through the woods, I’m not in Pennsylvania anymore! Lol

Hey, friend. I saw you on your bike this morning. One day i'm gonna catch you on your bike while i'm filming so everyone can see that electric bike ha cannas.....yes, that's it I'll send some pics of what looks weeds ha but maybe a flower.

In 2011 we moved to a house that we had purchased & it needed lots of work before we could even move into. The yard also was growed up & just alot of work. But when we moved in things was nice. But garter snakes (for whatever reason) was terrible! We lived there for about 10 yrs & it did improve. It went from a weed infested yd to full of flowers & bushes. Each yr I would move the bricks lining the flower beds out further to enlarge beds. I am a fraidy cat when it comes to snakes - but i would get my hoe & kill them lol. So when u was talking about critters in the flower beds - i totally understand. When we redid the the floor to the potting shed i think helped the snake problem too. The Cathelic church was in the same block & the priest would walk past our house often & he told me once that our house went from being the ugliest house on the block to the prettiest. And I would say thankyou when ever he would compliment our place and he would say no - thankyou.

Hey, April. Oh, how sweet of the priest to say that. I know that made you feel like your hard work was being noticed. Oh, them snakes uggggg no fun at all. I've never really worried or looked for snakes in the thirty years we've been here because we've always had lots of dogs and some stray cats. Since we've now lost all of our animals, I'm stating to worry.

Everything looks great Robin. I am the same as you, I have to pull up every single weed!!! Great video.

Honeysuckles and merry-go-rounds!!! When I see and smell honeysuckles, it takes me back to elementary school!! Our playground had a merry-go-round, right beside the fence covered in honeysuckles. We’d get a handful and eat them while going round and round. 😂😂 Aww, memories!!! ❤ Satisfying doesn’t begin to describe watching that flower bed going from green to clear!! I love it! I just wish I could do it sped up that fast in real life!! 😂😂 I hate weeding my flower beds. But girl, I think you have motivated me to start mine tomorrow morning before it gets too hot. I can't put them in my flower beds because of the deer but I have a few places where I can put some. I'll plant them anywhere I can find that the deer can't get to. @@RobinLaneLowe Yes I live in the country. My Mom has a fenced yard but if the deer want something bad enough they will jump it. They don't eat everything she has though. I can't keep anything. I planted flowers that the Internet said deer wouldn't eat last year but they still ate everything I planted.

I love the sound of wind chimes it reminds me of my mom because she always has wind chimes dinging at her house. 😊 me and my sister would eat the honeysuckles as kids as well, it was so good. 😊❤ I love how you have a wallet full of labels to show how much money you have for each category. 😊 I like slow take it easy kind of videos that are relaxing and not stressful. I like how some clips are sped up that are not that interesting but I don’t like the whole video sped up. Your videos are definitely interesting, relaxing, and take it easy kind of videos. 😊❤

When I’m cleaning my flower beds out I use a rake or a hoe or shovel and run back and forth in it before I stick my hands in it to hopefully run out any creatures

Robin it's me again!!!!You should weed out the clover again the same day you are going to plant the plants and mulch!!The mulch will choke it out to some degree as it tries to grow back in!!!You might already know this. !LOL!!!!!!😉👍

I think they are cana lilies in your flower bed I have the orange, just purchased blacknights and Red hybrid Planted Bee Balm ( bergamot) can't wait till they start sprouting!! Love spring and just being outside!! Live in Fl but from Ar my husband calls me his li Ar dirt dauber! 😂😂
