🥰🥰🥰 That snowball tree is worth the price of the property! I’m with Tommy, on the fence🤣🤣
Plant the green/yellow stripe grass around your boarder, lots less aggressive than other monkey grass varieties . It separates well also for spreading the love.
Snowball 🤩
The yard looks pretty. So much work was done. Enjoy.
Love that you made the yard your style...something new and exciting...❤
I really like the way your back yard looks! Thank you for sharing
I think the fencing and gate give a wonderful charm to your backyard…hoping y’all don’t remove it!
Your yard, back and front are stunning!
I absolutely love everything you are doing and your excitement and enthusiasm are infectious! Love it all!
It's looking so pretty. 😊 Love the garden boxes.
That Chinese Snowball Viburnum is sensational. Can’t believe you did not put some focus on it. Your yards are looking great. Love your style.

Isn’t it amazing?!?!?❤
I really like your sunglasses.
The yard looks amazing. The existing fence is perfectly fine, stylish and appears well built (although the metal replacement would be equally great). The wood fence is perfect for a climbing vine such as clematis or roses. The snowball v tree is an absolute stunner! Lucky you.
Glad you're keeping the fence as is. I like it.
This was just the thing (among all the notifications from which to choose) to watch while prepping a quick dinner. Appreciate your communication-style, calm and clear. THANK YOU. 🙌🏼

Thank you for watching! ❤
Sydney, your back and front yard look amazing, keep doing what you love and like. By the way...only 2 haters so far 😅
Just so very nice! Really like your gardens. Wondering if you had ever thought about placing a tree or some other large plant in the corner by the snowball bush to distract from the pole? We have the same kind of thing in our alley and may do something to create a distraction.
Such a beautiful home & garden 😊 👍🏻👏🏻
Back yard looking good and raised beds look super neat 👏
What a complete difference from Linda's layout. Your garden, your choice, but I can't for the life of me understand why you would completely change everything......it was so beautiful!
That Chinese viburnum is just so beautiful.
Beautiful flowering tree!!!
Hi Sydney, look up the Evergreen Clematis called Avalanche. I live in England and it does super well for me on a west facing fence. We had some -5 figures in the winter and lower for the odd occasion and it survived. Might be worth checking up if it's a good survivor in your heat. Haven't tried it yet but l wonder if you could put a piece of the plant by a leaf node in a pot while it is still attached. Then when the roots are established, cut it off from the parent plant. That way you need only by one plant.

That is a great idea. Most vines root quickly that way. Thank you.
Hi Sydney Love the new raised beds. The sunshine is a bonus 👍🌟☺️💗
Wow almost 20,000 cool
Your backyard is filling out beautifully 😊
Everything is looking so nice. 🙂
Your back garden is looking very pretty, the raised bed garden looks larger and tidy with all the raised beds.
It’s looking great!❤
Looks amazing
Beautiful , everything looks so lush and green ❤
I’m looking forward to watching your raised bed gardens! Best of luck on evergreen clematis, I can’t wait!❤❤❤
I ❤ your landscaping choices, looks 👍
Your posts mean so much to me and your yard and home is beautiful.

Thank you for watching!
Good update, love from Australia.
Your beds are huge! Your going to be able to grow a lot!
Try painting the two stone green🤗 maybe won’t show so much. 🦋
Really like your glasses!
Hi 👋 Sydney!!
Sydney, thanks for the update. Raised beds look really good. Evergreen clematis could you root cuttings? or is it just from seed? Looking forward to your trellis.

I probably could try to root but I've never actually tried. Great question for other subscribers! I will ask on the next video!
You have done so much in a short amount of time! One question……..where do you get your energy young lady? You came home at lunch to do yard work!!? 😉 Everything looks great!!

haha sometimes I don't have it but I make myself do it!
❤️👍👍
Sydney, I have enjoyed watching your videos even before you bought this house... you had given Linda a tour of your former home. Can I be nosey and ask if that is real grass in your backyard? I think I remember it being artificial and must have miss the video of you tearing out the turf. It looks very healthy.

I don't mind the shorts at all! The longer ones are great, but you don't need to apologize for any of the shorts! They are great!

Yes, the grass in the backyard is real. It is fescue!
Is the birdhouse gone? Everything looks great!
@SydneyDorman

It is. It was in the way of the raised beds and it was really damaged so we opted to remove it.
How did you get the drip into the garden beds? Are they trenched below?
@SydneyDorman

Yes, they are trenched and ran up the side of the bed and then connected to the drip lines. I will talk more about it in upcoming videos!
Where is the color in the back yard?

I think you are referring to the pinks and purples I like. The backyard was hardscaped and we put in grass but didnt have time to plant before winter. So, we had to wait. That's all coming soon!
Not a fan of the planter boxes. Even with plants in them they look messy. Too much upkeep to them. Looking forward to seeing the transformation.
Birds don't flourish with night lighting. Why are you illuminating a big old juniper? Why?
The backyard is looking good, but I am a bit confused. I purchased my perennial clematis which ate beautiful for about 30 or $35 each. Why is that prohibitively expensive? When you’ve paid for so much work to be done on your beds and such which had to be very expensive. Also, it takes at least three years for the clematis to really start performing in plant form.

I believe all clematis are perennial, but not Evergreen in the winter. The leaves fall and they are just bare branches. She said she was looking for Evergreen, so leaves stay on all winter. Didn't know there was such a thing, but they would be hard to find.

Typically evergreen clematis are around $50+ for a decent sized plant. I need about 50 of them. Yes, we have spent a good amount of money on hardscape and a lot of work to be done. However, I cant justify spending $2500+ on a single espalier project. I would rather grow from seed and spend that money elsewhere on other projects.

Wow, 50 of them, really? Understand!
