As a nurse I get how you can pull yourself up on your boot straps. We have some outdoor projects in the planning now the sub tropical summer is gone. I know the person with a progressive neurological disease in our home is looking forward to getting some hard work done. He misses his work but loves to potter around outside so we do our best to keep things interesting.. I'm so happy to see Jason in a happy place and knowing the exhaustion afterwards will be worth it.

Oh my dear...just watched the video on your other channel. Just wanted to tell you that you are such a blessing and wonderful woman! In case nobody told you lately, you are doing great and your hubby couldn't have a better caregiver than you. And it is just so hard. My Dad passed away a year ago at 82 and had dementia a few years before. My mom had to deal with a lot. One day she had a doctor appt, for him and the doctor was running late and they were sitting in the waiting room and after 10-15 minutes, he threw the car keys on the floor and said "I'm done waiting! I'm going home!" Another time she noticed he was acting kind of odd, his balance was a little off. So the next day, she heard him wake up and saw a whiskey bottle sticking out of his pillow. They are not big dirnkers - just had an occasional cocktail before bed. The bottle was empty. She said "Daniel, have you been drinking this after you go to bed?" He said "yes." She's like just a little bit? He said "No." She said "a lot?" He shook his head yes 🤣 Needless to say, no more alcohol was left in the house. And then came the day where she had to take his truck keys away which she had been avoiding as she knew it would be so hard for him not to drive. It was just no longer safe. She told him and he wouldn't talk to her the rest of the day. After he died, she was going through his things and there was a shirt hanging on a hook in his bedroom. In the pocket of this flannel shirt was his truck keys - I guess he was hiding them in case he decided to break her rules 😢 So many moments dealing with this disease, sometimes funny, oftentimes heartbreaking. They say God gives the biggest battles to his strongest soldiers. Sometimes I wonder. But he must thing you are a very strong woman. God bless you and your family ❤
