The attention to detail is insaneee, he painted the wall & deck to make it look extra good when done! I'd hire this guy for any project!

Sir I could literally watch you build anything all day everyday!!! It’s called damn you do pristine work!!! Love the way you edited this vid. Just showing the process and no talking. Unintentional ASMR haha. I can’t believe you just happened upon that circular stone piece in the woods. I think I’d call that divine intervention my friend. Looking forward to many more like this!! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

I like the way you did this...just working, no talking. It was easy enough to understand without the narration. It looks wonderful! I hope you and your family enjoy this pretty outdoor space!💕💕💕

I don't know but I am going to take it as a compliment. 😀 Thank you!
Fantastic job. And realistic for normal people on normal budgets. Hope you enjoy it.
Excellent work. Hard worker. Didn’t spend a fortune. Looks amazing.
It was very satisfying watching you methodically create the patio and freshen up your yard. There's so much to do in my own yard, and it was nice to see someone make progress, even if it's not me!
I don’t care what anyone says this is the best way to work at home in peace and I have done something’s around my home some good projects and some not so good but just being out there is therapeutic 😊
I loved the no commentary! Before this video I started watching one with a couple building a deck and their commentary was so over the top I lasted 10 minutes of a 39 minute video. Yours was perfect, I saw all the info I needed 👍👍
Looks amazing!! We just overhauled 3 huge flower beds, rebuild our front deck/porch and reseeded a section of our grass that was all weeds by our sidewalk so I can appreciate the huge amount of work you just did in this video. You always make it look easy meanwhile there I am red faced and dying doing my stuff 😂

Not to take away from the beautiful work this man did on his yard, but that's even more amazing that your work taxes you like that and yet you're still out there getting it done. Good stuff SaltySeed 👍
You did the best job! My back was killing me just watching those tree roots lol! Such a good video showing the whole process! I think this might work for my parents yard! Thanks VM👏👏👏
Beautiful work and I enjoyed just quietly watching. Great job!
Love the outcome but will say that I personally enjoy narration instead of the ASMR stuff. I like to hear you explain what you're doing, why you're doing it, etc. Totally get why you may have switched it up and tried this ASMR thing but just giving my two cents in case you were hoping for feedback to gauge if you should do more.

Thank you. Now I have what I need to know for my project. At first I was annoyed for the silence but then you talked at the end of your video. 😄
I love your videos. Whether you narrate or you just work, you’re an inspiration. Thanks for sharing.
I must say, that patio looks brilliant and very inviting and comfortable. I did miss the commentary, but what you said at the end made sense. Great job and great filming 👏👏👏

Very helpful video; we're thinking about doing a similar project in our backyard and this gave me a good sense of how to get started, thank you! From what I could see, the plant that "looks a little sad" is probably a daffodil bulb, which will regrow/rebloom in the spring. If it didn't bloom this year, it probably didn't have enough sunlight; you can always dig it up and plant it somewhere sunnier if you like.
@TheFixerHomeRepair

Thank you! I will try that!
Man! You ain’t stressing about anything. You work peacefully. Good work , clean project
I foresee A LOT of relaxing family and friends time there. Beautiful job. Your sad plant is a daffodil bulb, I think. It’s doing it’s thing by dying back as spring turns to summer. Plant taller bulbs in the back, shorter bulbs in the front (like crocus) and a few perennials in the middle like more peony (the pink flowering plant already there) and hosta. Thanks for saving the existing peony.

This is my life right now - old house, digging up roots and rocks everywhere
Man, the way you have basically rebuilt your house entirely is something to be admired. I'm still pretty young (22) and it would be my DREAM to buy a house that needs work, just to update it myself.
You're videos bring me and my fiancé so much peace and inspiration, thank you!
Fantastic job. You are a hard and dedicated worker. I see that you can do anything you set your mind to do. Dare I say that you are a perfectionist. That is a good thing. You remind me of my son. Can do anything and a perfectionist.
First time viewer, and I am beyond impressed. Just watching you work was so meditative. I sure hope someone gave you a cold beer, a big hoagy and a backrub after all that. I can only imagine how nice it must look at night with that firepit going.
I love watching your videos. I used to watch my father work when I was a kid, he could do anything, (I always said he was Superman)you are like him.
New lawn always needs a couple of reseedings for the patchy spots.
Looks like you and I have the same friends helping with projects. Great job.
Matt, holy cow my dude! Your new outdoor room is amazing. You already had the best house on the block...you've taken it to a whole new level now! Also, I like the no commentary style, but I prefer the comments. I've learned so much from you by the way you describe what you are doing.

You are amazing can't believe you did it by yourself making the job look so cool it turn out beautifully all even no mistakes .Sorry you don't live in the Caribbean. You are a genius 👏🏻 👏🏻 👍🏼.
We have a fire pit and kids play area with pea stone. It is great, weeds can’t get a foothold, you just grab a rake and smooth it out once a year and it looks brand new. Any pea stones that get kicked onto the grass, will just get absorbed into the dirt and disappear.
Working on the storage/ woodshed today. Just finished with my raised bed garden. Feel for you with the shovel work, filled raised bed by shovel and five gallon bucket. 20 yards worth turned out great though. Love the patio

You did great, everything looks amazing.
finally a video that I could leave the volume up on. No chippy background music, no attempts at cutesy commentary with your arms flailing about, just work. Good job!
Beautiful. I usually put cardboard then mulch to prevent weeds.
Thanks for doing this. Love the no frills, no nonsense, just-do-it approach. Kudos, brother.
Keep watering the grass all summer and it will thicken up just fine. It may take a full year for it to really settle in. Looks great!

It may be sparse at first with a lot of annual weeds...just continue to water, mow them down, use a weed & feed and overseed bare spots if needed. Rule of thumb with new lawns and plantings...1st year they sleep, 2nd year they creep and 3rd year they leap.

Looking at my spongy backyard after the storms came through 😢. Love to do this , though I fear my newly replaced hip might not like it! Wish I had a handyman 😂
If you’re going to be doing a lot of this kind of work, I suggest getting a dump wagon. Holds 5 cubic feet, 300 lbs capacity. All big box stores has them. Perfect for jobs like this.
I'm literally studying this video for my patio project. I stress about grading correctly. Thanks for sharing!
Wow. That method of leveling the trench was pretty cool.

It's a great job and it's technically correct. Good balance in design and lots of contrast in use of materials. Really good. Well done!
It looks amazing, you did your thing.🙏🙏
Wow! You really created, painted and cleaned it all up beautifully!!👏🏻👏🏻
Truely enjoyed watching the transformation. You actually gave me a few ideas, I hate grass and love the pea gravel. Great video.
Great as always! Someone else commented as well but the “sad plant” is a daffodil bulb and past its season. Just cut the greens off and it will come up next spring. Also, I have really good luck spreading peat moss over the seed. It keeps it moist after watering, helps germinate, and keeps the birds away. Hey, sometime can you do a quick shout-out to your family so we can meet them? Thanks for all your tips! Christine
OK, I have to say I missed the "and were going it...right now". But, wow, you got a lot of work done in one day. Oh, wait, you just wore the same clothes over multiple days. 😮 The patio looks awesome! Looks like a great space to spend time with the family. Enjoy.

WoW! So impressive. U plan & executes it well. I luv it!!!👍🏿
Cool! The careful selection of materials and the meditative process of construction created a unique sensory journey. It's a must-watch for those seeking relaxation and inspiration for their own outdoor projects.
