I appreciate all the tips you mentioned traveling which I would have never thought of doing and places I’ve no idea to find for things I need. Your videos are greats.

Very helpful advice and tips on your regrets! Thanks for sharing. And congrats on your engagement!! -- I was thinking of bringing a waterbottle as well, but mainly because it would be so hot and I know my bottle can maintain it's coldness for a long time...

what a great video! another tip - I also land up saving up on unnecessary expenses like atm fees etc in South East Asia - using apps like ATM Fee Saver - it helps find atms with no fees or lower fees than others along with withdrawal limits etc. worth adding to your list of tricks!

How did you get from the airport/train/bus station in a new country to your hostel or to somewhere you can get SIM cards from without having a SIM for that country? Like did you have data for Google maps/to book transport etc

Hey! Such a great video, thank you for all the details! It’s been really helpful! :) How did you book for first flight? Was it just a single flight and how much were your flights in total? Tysm!

Hey hey! Thanks for watching 🥰 our initial one way flight out was around £500/£600 each if I remember correctly. It was a very expensive time though in between Christmas and new year. Will be filming a Q&A very soon regarding all other money questions and bits! X

Hello! 🩷 just wondering what you did with getting cash when going in and out of different countries. Did you use atms in airports/shops? What would you recommend? Please and thank you xx

Hi lovely! We just got cash out at most convenient ATM’s. You very quickly recognise the most common banks and atms in a country so we tend to use those as they’re often more reliable and have better support should something go wrong. In Thailand with Bangkok Bank I believe you can get cash out without withdrawal fees if you go inside the stores and do it but most the time it’s more convenient to just get it out at a local ATM. In Vietnam we always used TP Bank as it was fee free for withdrawals from our cards! Hope this helps? Xxx

Definitely have multiple cards with you, but we pretty much only used cash to pay for things when we were out there. You can just withdraw cash at the ATM’s - but some ATM’s are a bit dodgy and could swallow your cards so make sure you have a couple of backup cards just in case! We didn’t need travel cards as our debit cards were eligible for use in other countries. We used Chase & Monzo mostly, but revolut and starling are also supposed to be good! Xx

No not for Thailand! I remember seeing online that sometimes they’d ask you at the airport but I didn’t get asked about it when I came here, I think it’s just luck sometimes whether you get asked or not!! X
