Backcountry Frying Part 2: Fry Baking

By using a remote canister stove, diffuser and a windscreen, you can set your cooking system up to bake in a frypan! Here we bake cornbread in an MSR Quick Skillet. It took about 20 minutes and only used 18 g of fuel.

    Thank you for sharing this video ... I like the idea of being able to "bake" something in the backcountry ... With that in mind I am curious as to what gear you used to bake the corn bread in the video ... Please correct me if I am wrong ... I believe the gear used was: 1. Bobcat Kovea Cooking System (Stove, Windscreen & Heat shield), 2. Baking plate (Which one ?????), 3. MSR 8" Ceramic Skillet, 4. Lid (?????), and 5. "Felt" Lid cover (?????) Also in the video I saw focacia bread ... I'm curious about the recipe ... Can you please share a link to it?
