Great new map. Ithmus but with new meta potential. Needs five more variants with same-same but different layouts. Then all the ithmus haters will start arguing which ithmus is the worst!

Wow, Dropping the ball letting that initial massive purple bombing run in with all those fighters just on idiot patrol over Vanaja's ships. I think they were TheBattleBandit's fighters and I think they were tunnel visioning so hard they just didn't notice what was happening. Or they expected there was air support already, as evidenced in the chat. Feel bad for that brown player getting ignored so hard. lol Vanaja pulled the hard carry anyway. Exciting!

23:25 - I've already run the numbers. For Armada, Fusion is 'more efficient' than AFUS at any build power below 2776.17. At that number it's equivalent. AFUS is better above it. This is because if we assume 100 build power, it takes 3125 seconds to finish an AFUS, but only 700 for a Fusion. For 700 seconds, there's no difference. When the first Fusion comes online, it has 2425 seconds of production time before the AFUS comes online. The second one has 1725, third has 1025. This adds up to 5175 seconds of production, at 1k/second. That's 88 837.5 metal at T2 conversion. If we double the build power, this number is halved. Triple, divide by 3, et cetera. To build an AFUS you need 9700 metal. To build a Fusion you need 4300. To have 3k production using Fusions, you need 12900 metal. That 'wastes' 3200 metal. Now we just divide the 'metal produced' with the 'wasted metal'; 88837.5/3200=~27.76. This means you need ~'27.76' times the build power (100) for an AFUS to become 'more efficient,' as the Fusion no longer has time to pay for its own inefficiency past that point. In-game application: ~2776 build power builds an AFUS in ~113 seconds, or 1 minute ~53 seconds. I.e. if you can't build it at that rate or faster, Fusions are better. The same amount of build power builds a Fusion in ~25.2 seconds. (e.g. building an AFUS is better if a Fusion takes less than ~25.2 seconds to finish) Things to keep in mind: Due to the 'inefficiency' and the shorter time (three fusions build a lot faster than a single AFUS), building Fusions will drain your economy much faster. Also note that the given time of ~113 seconds is the game time elapsed between starting and finishing. I.e. It assumes you never stall when building them.

I knew the tanks were coming, but my defensive demons got stuck on some debris and had to take the long route around, which wasn't fast enough, so lost whole econ. I was expecting far more of a strait-slog where mass eco was essential (and eco is out of range of flagships...), so wasn't the optimal use of the position, but the demons I made were still key.

This is such a fun map! I had a game yesterday, 50 minutes and my base got blown up 4 times. Rebuild and went again. Really the most fun iteration of shitmus.

Yeah this was the game before our 8 min nuke game on this map. Vanaja just too OP on sea. Its a nice refreshing take on the straights map I definitely prefer it.

I think it's fundamental.
Misuse of Demon spam is painful. Demons should be used as bodyguard for T2 or T3 units. For example build 2 or 3 Juggernauts and attach 1 Demon to protect them from being surrounded by small units spam.
South sea is easier to win, north sea is easier to attack

Think the zoomed out map looks washed out and 'bad' ? Turn off the "fog multiplier" setting. Take another look at this map! I didn't like the Tile Set used here. (Same as on Red River Estuary). Nikusis (the map designer) was in spec chat and identified that it's the fog setting. So I turned Fog off.
awwww: was hoping you'd just go ahead and call him "bar" ...maybe readjust it to "the bottom line" since it's just the bottom edge of a proper barcode anti-name. as for the match...honestly "its not who wins the fight that wins the battle its who salvages up after it" would sum up the commentary for most interactions in this game, it has very little in the way of comeback mechanics but it does have a surprising amount of surprisingly varied ways to win loosing fights; it is HARD to make a comeback mechanic that increases interactivity but tricks and setups and positioning and whatnot are all things that are damned near impossible to _reduce_ interactivity with.
