Back to the Farm in Australian Winter
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
We left the flower farm for 3 weeks, and now we are back! Struggling with a little bit of sickness and jet lag, but happy to be back into the old swing of things. The crisp cold air and pretty icy mornings are making us happy!

Hey Phaedra, love your content, always hang out for your vids.. Just wanted to mention a few money saving tips.. raw local honey is a great rooting hormone. I have had good success with. When your jar is empty just put honey in Hope you had an amazing holiday.

Subscribed instantly. I'm also from country Vic and it's not very easy to find garden vids with a similar climate

I heard your cough and hope your not coming down with something now you have returned home and have to get the gardens prepared for their winter siesta. How are the kids are they suffering from jet lag from the trip too?

Right! I just done get it?!
Hi Phaedra, Peony $5 a head oh my! Can you grow your own you have the frost and cold to grow them? I know it will take three years for them to produce but in the long run it will pay off. Phaedra when you use the rooting hormone empty some in a lid and dip the cuttings in that so you don’t contaminate your main container. I like the cold too easier to work in the cold than the heat. Naked in the garden oh noooo my neighbour’s will die of shock.

Hi Marie! Great idea about the rooting hormone!! We can grow peonies here I just hadn’t had an idea of where to plant them until now(ish). I’m building more gardens around the house so when those are done I’ll put some in!
Plant section at Bunnings is a big problem when walking around as from watching your videos im getting to know there names. As still kale flowers are in the 2.00 dollar area.As for the frost we had a lot of my plants was frost bitten and I had to give my plants a xut back...keep warm and welcome home .As for .love from Nanette

Ive found some nice plants in that $2 section, including a really nice grass with a blue grey colour that I’ve not been able to find again! Yep it’s so frosty here! You stay warm to Netty xx
Not sure if anybody else has asked but what are you fences made from? Starpickets and some kind of fabric? Would love to know. Great video!!

Is it sold at Bunnings or did you get it online?
Just wondering if the horse poo is fresh and just breaks down over winter or if it already composted? thanks for another great video😊

Oops I should have mentioned that!! It’s composted already. It’s actually really nice poo!! Smells kind of sweet and was steaming!
Great to see you back! Can't you raise the price slightly on the bouquets for the servo, it would be a shame to lose the regular habit over the winter.

Hello! Thankyou! I think one of the reasons sales has dropped is because people are struggling so much with the cost of living. I feel like trying to raise prices right now would make it harder. Supermarket flowers are starting to look good to people becuase cost is becoming more important than quality now!
