Thanks for explaining the benefits for going in ridden hives, I get so tired of noobs avoiding them then bitching about not having any copper or not doing enough damage. I also don't mind the speed running nerfs, it pisses me off every time a team just runs by all the copper and upgrades and we go into the next level broke and underpowered. I hate speed runners. What's the point of playing if you just run past everything and put the rest of the team in a bad spot? Overall, it's a great game and it's one of my most played games this year. They still have a few things to iron out, (like monstrous slashers, some AI issues, and some inconsistent jumps in hives) but I enjoy it more than Left 4 dead at this point. Can't wait for the next dlc

I wouldn't say I prefer this to Left 4 Dead 2, but I think the issue with Speed Running wasn't the nerfs but the lying and the lack of compensation. They should have included a separate mode for speed runners with it's own set of cards tbh. Because I get the appeal of seeing how well you know a game to beat it as fast as possible and compete for better times, especially in games with a bit of luck like B4B where the best time may never be set in stone. But yeah, plenty of randos don't realize that, especially on Veteran and up, Ridden Hives give a much needed extra set of resources.

Currently I am loving this game and I bought three copies for my friends so I can play with them.
