Bacalao, SIMPOL!

Bacalao is a Spanish term for dried, salted cod but also refers to a flavorful dish. But this recipe is Labahita ala Bacalao! This is a perfect recipe for the Holy Week!
Ingredients:
Set A:
2 tablespoons oil
2 cloves garlic
1 large white onion
2 pieces laurel leaves
4 pieces tomatoes
1 piece bell pepper
1 can garbanzos
1/2 kilo labahita
Set B:
1 tablespoon vinegar
2 tablespoon brown sugar
1/2 cup tomato sauce
1 cup water
2 tablespoons fish sauce
5 pieces green olives
1 teaspoon chili flakes
Salt and pepper, to taste

    Very good!! I understand the recipe was tailored to be affordable to many, but perhaps olive oil and croutons were mentioned as optional ingredients. Iba kasi ang dating. Just a thought. Still a great simplified dish. Salamat Po and God bless.

    Wow! Ang sarap po nyan Chef naalala ko si tatay palagi sya nagluluto ng Bacalao gamit nya yung daing na galunggong ang sarap favorite nya yan.

    Iba pa din ang luto ng mga taga Cavite pagdating sa bacalao. Mas simpol ..at tuyo sya.. hindi malabnaw na kagaya nyan.

    I came here kasi a lot of my friends posted it on fb.I am also came from Cavite but now living in Japan.Sikat yan sa Cavite city.Sadly nakaalis ako ng bansa ng hindi man lang nakkatikim nyan.

    Chef ang mahal ng bacalao fish sa rustans libo ang price pero marami naman kaya dapat damihan na ang pag luto para sulit ang ingredients sa olive oil palang plus olive pa 😂
