This felt like I was watching an old top gear episode. Everything about this video was brilliant, the talent, the sound, the visuals, all of it came together to make this a masterpiece that modern top gear would be jealous of. Awesome stuff

This was a brilliant episode. Amazing car, but you two just did an amazing job keeping it from stealing the show. Wonderful dialogue, all the details of getting in and out of the car, the noises and vibrations right out front with the record-setting specs, and that bit of humility at the end. 👏

James’s caption for “childish giggles” followed by Thomas’s heart-to-heart moment put me in the feels. Love you guys! I hope to run into y’all in the real world some day.

Has to be my favorite episode so far. I loved the shenanigans (as usual), but I loved your expression of gratitude and the honesty of your feelings and excitement for the vehicle.

What's really amazing is how close the performance of two Camaros, two Mustangs, and a Corvette (the previous top five) was to this little missile. The Mono is amazing, and probably is a perfect track toy, but that's _all_ it is. If four beefy, option-laden GTs, and one equally well-equipped Corvette, are only four seconds behind this thing, they are even more impressive than I realized.

I would love to see an F1 Driver in one of these. Push it to the limit

I have no words for this channel and these guys. Last time I felt like that watching automotive content was in Jeremy Clarkson's v12 vantage "review". It just make me happy knowing you guys got to enjoy a car like that. Cheers from Brazil! Keep up the wonderful work!

Been watching you guys for a bit now and I have to say that the astonishing quality of the video/sound/b rolls/fake scripts are just over the top great. But now kick in an ultra amazing and unique car like this then it is all just over the tippy top! To see you both truly get in and under and into this car was just awesome to see it evolve into heavenly joy! And that last bit at the end is why I watch you guys. Supercar reviewers are a dime a dozen, but very few put the level of editing and personality into their work as you guys do. You could be reviewing minivans and I'd watch all the way to the end.

The most refreshing thing about you guys is that there are no narcissistic egos and intellectual pride on display. Many other KZread car channel personalities are more concerned with their "image" rather than just being themselves and focusing on the cars. They brag and flex in a subtle way which gets old real quick. "They" want to be the center of attention rather than the cars! Keep up the humility guys and you will have 10 million+ subs down the road soon! Stay true to yourselves no matter how famous you become!

I ended up on this channel after going through the Top Gear/Chris Harris/Grand Tour wormhole. I was surprised to the the Ontario plates on the cars they were driving. Being from Ontario myself, I felt a bit of an instant connection to these guys. I love the reviews, love the track runs. I really appreciate when we get the turn by turn rundown of whats happening on the track. not just the "here's a fast car doing a fast time on this track." That moment at the end with Thomas getting real about what he does really hit home for me. Thank you Throttle House, you've got a new fan forever in me. Recently found this channel and am loving the content! Great chemistry between Thomas and James keeps things light and entertaining. Quick question for Thomas: if you're so into fine mechanical timepieces - mentions of IWC and JLC abound - why wear an Apple watch? Given your racing focus, why not get a racing chronograph like a Speedmaster or Heuer Autavia?

Good question! I have a seamaster professional that I wear often, but the practicality of the Apple Watch won me over during busy days where I don’t have my phone in my pocket (filming) and can still see important notifications.

Glad someone on this planet gets to have fun like this. Keeps the dream alive for me... one day I’ll be on the track when I’ve got deeper pockets!

Each video is getting more and more reminiscent of early top gear and I love it!

Whats with Canada and their no fun road registration rules! Most of the Western world lets you register them!

Soooo... I've specced an Ariel Atom 4 to my heart's desire and it's around 80K £, so anywhere between a third and a half of the price of the BAC MONO. It seats two, it's maybe 100 pounds heavier, but you can get the 350 bhp option, brake bias switch, variable power, AP Brakes, fully adjustable suspension so... would be interesting to understand what's the gap.

The gap is the bodywork, suspension, steering wheel, seat, transmission etc etc. Basically everything lol. The BAC Mono is actually quite a bit faster than even the v8 Atom. It was a second faster around the top Gear track and that is a pretty short course. The Mono shattered the fastest time at the Goodwood hill climb a few years ago.
