BabyMetal is so different, and this is so different than BabyMetal! Yes, I like it better than the original. Koba-Metal and the "Fox God Team" did such a good job. Su-Metal's hair is like Artwork!

It’s different from the original and it’s live but both versions are fantastic. I am waiting for the full band live version to come out. I hear that’s very special too.

Thanks again from Japan 有難う💛。These female artists depict various images by singing and project them into the listeners' brain. The waves by those images come and go and make me move emotionally. Thank you BABYMETAL. And thank you Koba for your serendipity. Some 13 years ago, you certainly discovered something amazing and sacred for us. Speaking of the three figures in white hood adding some background vocals, they are certainly homage to BM's girlhood with original three girls. I assume, however, they are the same girls who performed Doki Doki Morning as clone BABYMETAL in Makuhari last January. The combination of their heights reminded me of them dancing face-to-face with Su, Moa and Momoko.

While I love the original, I appreciate this version a lot more. The vocals are amazing. I think u would like their other single "Light and Darkness". I'm excited for the full album which comes out Friday. I can't wait for u to experience Babymetal in concert, it's a absolute blast. Great reaction Biss!!!

It was a great experience listening to this song so calmly. I'm excited. Especially at the beginning when the singing started it felt like in a Disney movie when the actors sing happy emotions. I really hope that they will play the piano version of this song during the concert. That would certainly be a magical moment.

Nice reaction. The more i see this video the more I realize what minor miracle we just witnessed as Su and especially Moa are standing still for the song. Something we never really see at least not for a whole song. Incredible fantastic performance by them.

Isn't this just amazing, I too am lucky enough to be going the see them next month at Wembley arena, they are the support group but you grab whatever tickets you can with these girls. So so excited 😊 🤗

After watching your reaction, I went back and watched the original version again. Then I found that no matter which version you watch, it can increase your liking for the other version. I mean I watched the piano version and then watched the original version and found that I loved the original version more than before, and then I went back to watch the piano version and found that I loved the piano version even more. It's always great to see people being happy with Babymetal, they do this for a lot of people. 🙂 The new album is already being released in Japan, just a few days for us plebs in the west before we get it... It's a concept album and it's said the songs are more 'growers', you might need to listen a couple of times to it for it to really sink in, love them, etc.

I too always cry when I see this 1st take version and every time I see it. Of course I love the original too. They are called "BABYMETAL", so they are METAL vocalists. And they dance.

I've been waiting for you to react to this 😊 I'm REALLY conflicted which I prefer - the gaps where the instrumentation would normally be are a little long for me maybe - but I just love both for different reasons - I'd LOVE to see her do Monochrome live with this level of emotional intensity - their "official" stuff always feels over produced to me and I assume it'd be stronger (better?) with probably corwd participation. Got tickets to Wembley for them and can't wait :)

I liked the first version and this makes me like it even more. They are both great. They should make an acoustic album of Babymetal songs, and an album of metal covers of Sakura Gakuin songs featuring some of the other Sakura Gakuin graduates.

Gush away, I felt it too when I first watched the video. No apologies needed. 8-) In a recent interview with Koba-metal, he said this album is considered a concept album called The Other One, meaning, the other Babymetal. So it is safe to assume this album won't be like any of their previous albums. In fact, he doesn't even consider this album Babymetal's 4th album (minus the 10 Babymetal Years album). This is a 'prelude' album to the actual 4th album that will be 'officially' considered an album.

Curios thing happened just now... I have my desk top PC connected to my stereo because I don't have other people near me. But I do have a cat! When she heard this girl singing high notes, My cat was rubbing on the stereo speakers!

Reportedly the song is in reference to the A-Bomb attack on Hiroshima. Which is Su's hometown. Su's has grandparents who were survivors!! I like both, but the piano version hits me harder. What I do love is Moa singing. Moa's lower tone compliments Su's higher tone. Really would like Mao to sing more with Su and counter to Su. As to the third member I hope and believe it will be Momoko!! Bisscute would you like to know what the other 2 Avengers, Riho and Kano, are doing now??

I've done some thinking: the First Take version is very much like a live performance and Babymetal live is just better than album and thus I think it's part of the reason you like The First Take more.

I think anyone who sings has to be in the video to satisfy The First Take rules, from the sound of their voice I would guess they are most likely the backing singers they use in studio, of course Koba would never miss an opportunity to tease there is about to be announced a new member to the group

For now I prefer this stripped down version because it's a live performance and no matter the style, Babymetal always cranks it up to 11 and beyond when they do it live. I will need to wait and hear the full album before I can truly judge the album version. With it being a concept album, I will need to take into account the song both before and after Monochrome to get the full story. A good example of this would be 2112 by Rush, while some parts of the song stand strong on their own, others only truly take shape when they are part of the full song. If you want to do a reaction to a long song (like 20+ minutes), I highly recommend 2112 by Rush kzread.info/dash/bejne/qWme2dqrhNTVdaQ.html I personally don't think any Babymetal song is complete until the girls and the Kami Band perform it live with the crowds participation.

It seems like someone tried to scam me using a telgram account using your channel name, saying they were going to give me a laptop and game system, but I had to pay for the shipping to a private courier in advance. I emailed you with the screen shots, and you didn't give me the curtesy of a response, like, "Thank's for letting me know," or "No, that was really me." You lost a few respect points with me.

I literally said to "her" (Probably two guys at a computer in nigeria) "Is this one of the things, you want to give me stuff for free, but I"m going to have to pay upfront to get it?" They replyied "No. No. I jjust want to get you these amazing things." and keeps going, and going, and being vague, blah blah, and keep saying, "The courier has the stuff, if you can arrange for shipping, it is only $42." They are really actually good at what they do. When I sent them a link that desribes the scam, they get offended, say they would never think of such a thing, she was just rying to reward her loyal viewers, etc.
