Lyrics:
When can my heart beat again
When does the pain ever end
When do the tears stop from running over
When does you'll get over it begin
I hear what you're sayin'
But I swear that it's not making sense
So when can I see you
When can I see you again
When can my heart beat again
When can I see you again
And when can I breathe once again
And when can I see you again

Sorry for your loss, I lost my mom back in April, I miss her so much and now Thanksgiving is coming up, she did all the cooking, I have to work
Im 49 and used to play this on my acoustic guitar at parties and stuff. I woke up this morning randomly just thinking about the song realized I hadn't heard it in years so I looked it up. Man, I'm glad I did! What a masterpiece. I love the way he plays the dissident cords and then waits till the very end before he says the word "again." That one moment is sort of attention that the whole song is building up to and then it's a sweet release. The year was 1996 and I was living in Las Vegas partying it up with friends and goofing around in the desert. Just took me back in an instant. Now I'm settled in nicely across the country living in New Hampshire by the ocean. I think I may break out the guitar and look up a couple KZread videos which was not available to me back then and practice it some more for old times sake.

+Bright Eyes because kids these days are conditioned to like assholes like Chris Brown who beats the shit out of women and writes songs about having sex with girls who are asleep aka Rape.

I remember seeing this video, as a kid in the 90s, and realizing that I could play guitar, too - I'm a lefty and hadn't seen a left-handed guitarist at the time.
This song is so pure.
Take me back to the 90s....these poor kids today have no clue what music is.
