In this baby swimming video, I am teaching my 18-month-old son how to perform a freestyle kick. There are 3 simple steps to teach a baby to kick faster and these are covered in this easy tutorial video. When teaching baby swimming in a pool always make sure to have plenty of fun with them. I have been a swim instructor for 15 years and am so excited to be able to teach my son this important life skill. It is so important to start swimming lessons when they are young so their confidence can grow as they do. Teaching a baby to swim means breaking down the fundamental skills into bite size fun activities for them to take part in. During this lesson I teach my son how to swim with songs and games. This lesson plan can be adapted for baby swimming lessons, swimming lessons for kids and swimming lessons for toddlers. Swimming lesson for beginners will build the core skills needed for their future swim journey when they learn to swim freestyle, learn how to swim underwater, learn how to swim faster and everything in between. With my helpful videos you will learn to swim front crawl, freestyle, backstroke, butterfly, breaststroke as well as learn how to float, how to hold your breath and swim underwater.
