ISR is different from traditional swim lessons in that it focuses on teaching children survival skills that will help them stay safe in the water. ISR instructors use a specialized teaching method that involves repetitive exercises and training that builds on the child's natural reflexes and instincts. Children as young as 6 months old can learn these skills and gain the confidence to float, swim, and eventually, safely self-rescue in the water.
Brad Hurvitz, a certified Infant Swim Resource Instructor, has partnered with UV Skinz to promote sun safety while teaching children life-saving skills. The partnership between UV Skinz and Brad Hurvitz is aimed at raising awareness about the importance of both sun protection and water safety.
UV Skinz offers a range of sun-protective clothing and swimwear designed to keep babies and children safe from the harmful effects of the sun. By partnering with Brad Hurvitz, UV Skinz is able to provide a comprehensive approach to child safety by combining sun protection with ISR's life-saving swim lessons.
Together, UV Skinz and Brad Hurvitz are committed to educating parents and caregivers about the importance of sun protection and water safety for children. By working together, we can help prevent drowning and ensure that every child has the opportunity to learn vital survival swimming skills.
So, if you're a parent or caregiver who wants to protect your child from the sun while also teaching them how to stay safe in the water, consider joining the Infant Swim Resource program and investing in UV Skinz's sun-protective clothing and swimwear. Together, we can help keep our children safe and healthy!

Priceless. I used to teach beginner's swim lessons with The American Red Cross. Our Director's 6 month old toddler accidentally fell in the pool, fortunately, my sister was nearby, and jumped in, just in time to save him. This knowledge was not available back then. This is very real danger, and babies at a certain age can be taught to float and breathe, without fear, if done early. I, myself, almost drowned as a child in an undertow at the beach. My parents then 'forced' swim lessons on me at age 9 years, it was not easy, but, I did survive, and passed on my learning experience to my students. It was a very rewarding 'full circle' time of my life. Do whatever you can to protect your kids. ☮️♥️

@@isabellacollins0819he's not lol he's saying this is a great tool and that a baby falling in a pool and drowning is something that happens regularly and that's why these lessons are valuable honestly I think it's great what he's doing nothing better than saving a babies life or giving them the tools to also help save themselves until someone finds them

Yeah it seems pretty unbelievable that these would actually work since they aren’t even old enough to have working memories. So if they take the lessons as a baby, and fall in the water at 3-4 years old it’s doubtful they’d actually remember how to swim. Plus I’ve heard that a lot of kids are completely traumatized and afraid of the water after these ‘lessons’
