I’m not sure why people aren’t saying this more, but Mimi is not properly feeding the kitten. She has no mother instincts, just licking him is not enough, it’s obvious she wasn’t ready to be a mommy. She seem to be just tolerating the baby. Please take care of feeding the baby or else he won’t make it, he’s still too small and needs to be hand fed often. I’m worried he won’t make it either. Both are beautiful but sometimes we (humans) have to take care of things nature is not and this is one of those cases. With respect 🙏🏻💙

If Mimi only would tolerate the baby, then there wouldn‘t be touches, stroking by Mimi, Mimi would not allow baby comes near her.

Grisel C, I say this all the time, on every post. It's beginning to irritate everyone! They can't stand the truth. But the owner is keeping the baby alive with bottle feeding and cleaning. Without him, the kitten would have died in the first few days. He just wants us to think the baby is alive because of Mimi. I'm proud of the owner now.

The first days after birth here was a very stressful situation for Mimi, Coco always there, no private sphere for her and baby. And probably a past depression after the deaths. So she couldn’t give enough milk in the first days. You wrote completely BULLSHIT about Mimi, rushed her until today and even come to me and attacked me personally. Better you shut up in future to write anything about Mimi. You don‘t know anything about this British Shorthair and want to explain me life and world. First get your life in order before you chat nonsens to other people you don’t know.

Mama is a stunning cat, those pretty eyes !! Looks kinda like an Abyssinian coat, just very light. Kitten looks like dark version. This so sweet and charming. Love it ☮️

I would say she is a British Shorthair. She looks very much like the ones from Teddy Kittens. Maybe she is related, bcz this colour is rare, and TKs kittens are sold to new owners all over the world.

There were four born, the camera operator killed them, put them down (not at a vets but in the yard) because one healthy cat was black fur (and they were scared of black fur kitten like many societies), one was disabled and may not survive and the other was another healthy female and they wanted the males..so out of the 4 they killed 3 and kept 1

Mimi is so sweet and affectionate. Great job human for giving her the attention she craves. I think she misses cuddling with Coco.

The first word of the baby is always Mama 👍💯bcz mom is the most beautiful word in the world 👍💯💝💝

I’m not a newborn kitten expert, but for those worrying because we didn’t see the baby feeding, please keep in mind this video is not even 5 minutes long. 5 minutes out of a whole day. The baby is growing and appears to be getting stronger. So he’s eating! We just didn’t see it this time. Mimi and cat dad are doing a fine job. 💜💜

I hope so. Sometimes a mother goes dry. I've seen it happen and with Mimi being a designer cat, having problems is not unusual.

croissantdelune, yes, the owner is bottle feeding and cleaning the kitten himself. Mimi isn't interested. It's not her fault if she isn't maternal. The owner was hoping, as everyone does, she would be wonderful. We are all grateful the man is taking care of the kitten. All we want is for the baby to survive and be healthy. This now makes the owner a hands-on grandfather! Keeping fingers crossed.

Yes you're right video is short but 24 / 7 is longer and many things are possible to happen ...some people react in care concern for the mom and Mimi and kitten so with dad Coco...yes there's more to what is in the video ......there are good possibilities of harmonious growing up of kitten ...love and hugs to the Mimi mom and Coco dad and kitten .... 🙏🙏

@@tootz1950 "Designer cat" - that's it ---- the explanation that Mimi can't be a "normal" and good mother. Obviously she doesn't know that she has to be with her baby 24/7 (with the necessary exceptions). This is perhaps the reason why the three siblings passed away?

@@charlottebonnie5320 Yes, they have a high fatality rate among newborns as well as deformities. You can see that Mimi's baby has a head that's a bit too large for her body.

This is very frustrating the baby is not getting milk from man for heaven's sake help the baby if it dies it's your fault come on do the right thing the cat has not got a clue she's still a baby herself hope things improve very soon
