Bill, you and your wife are angels. This kestrel is a lucky (ducky)? Take care. I rescued an adult red shouldered hawk that has been hit by a car and was just sitting by the side of the road. I kept him overnight inside and in the morning as I was putting in the outside aviary he just up and flew away. I was so happy. I think he was just stunned, but he was a little docile, and let me handle him. Take care, he loves you all, your his mum and dad. Parents, happy days. ♥️👩‍🦳🌺

Congratulations! So glad he/she managed to fly off. I wish I had a Kestrel here to scare off the Village Weavers that decided to make a colony in my Saman tree this year! They are the noisiest devils!
