I've come across videos of baby Gronk where he seems almost on the verge of tears as his father makes him do these silly commercials. It's evident that all the little boy wants to do is to play his sports, games, and hang out with his friends. It's highly likely that he'll develop a dislike for football in the future.

As a Physical Therapist, I have treated quite a few high school athletes who over time hated the sport resulting from their parents being pushy. I remember 2 in particular who were track and field athletes. They competed in most of the sprinting events and 1 of them also did high jump. They were both very good, and went onto full scholarships at D1 schools. Each of their moms were D1 athletes who had the dream of going to the Olympics but did not make it. There were 2 situations that happened. One of them, I was seeing her for a torn hamstring. Through the period of plan of care I began getting the feeling she just didn't want to be there, so I tried getting it out of her. She wasn't much of a talker but one day, I asked her what her fastest time is in the 100 m. I looked up the women's Olympic record and saw she was not far off. I told her that, and she didn't care. Then she began telling me, she doesn't like it. She does not want to run anymore. The only reason she is still doing it is so she can go to college for free via an athletic scholarship. The second girl was a lot more outspoken. I was seeing her for hamstring pain. During treatment, the girl began showing she didn't want to do what I was telling her for that session. As I was trying to get into a reasoning why, her mom interrupted, as she was sitting right next to her, and said, "____, don't you want to go to the Olympics?!" The girl said, "No mom!" Parents who live their dream through their kids ruins the child's desire to play the sport. Much of the time, the child's dream isn't even to participate in that sport. All these 2 girls did was track and field. I have a best friend who played baseball his whole life. He could throw 86 mph at age 15. By the time he reached 17, he hated baseball. He quit at that time and never returned to playing. I will be very surprised if this Baby Gronk kid continues football even beyond high school age; not because he is or isn't good enough, but because he just won't care. His desire will be directed to doing everything he missed as a kid.

Boobies uncle really wasn't all that bad he talked boobie up to the college recruiters, but boobie was already a 5 star and on all their radars, or they wouldn't have been at practice. He lied about the severity of the knee injury to the coach. That was the only time I felt his uncle did wrong. But when Boobie finally realized football was over, it was his uncle that consoled him and was there for him. When Boobie says, "I was going to buy you a house," in the middle of his crying, that part always kills me. Full of himself and cocky as Boobie was, he wanted to make it big to provide for his uncle, who looked like he had raised him himself.
*It’s also the fact his dad gets into spats with people over the internet, including social and political issues…on his “sons account”. This is more of a father living vicariously through his sons life than the kid actually creating their own success. You can’t make this stuff up!
Absolutely right all could be over just as fast as it all got started …
The amount of accomplished adults trying to tear this kid down is ridiculous. Jealousy is a mental cancer
There’s always gonna be parents that do this crap
Boobie miles is in prison now 😂
Parents like this need to be locked up. This is absolutely a case of child abuse. There is one thing to have a kid who loves a sport, and you help them by driving them to practice and events, and helping them practice. Then there is this parent who is forcing a little child to do things, that the child clearly doesn't wanna do, because he's a child.
I was nfl bound
You should never let this happen to your kid. What if he’s just developing faster than the other kids and will hit a wall we’ve all known this to happen to people we play ball with in middle school. He play 8 man football 😂😂
I’ve coached this young man. He’s a great kid, mentally physically and spiritually, and his father is well intentioned. Marketing decisions aside, I wish him the best.

@@iank3924 I can only assume you have spent more time with them both, than I have with that reply. I can concede that I don’t know everything and can be wrong.
The Baby Gronk phenomenon is everything that is wrong with parenting today. Parents living vicariously through their kids because they were failures at what they did as a kid so now they have to force that on their kids and push them to their limit instead of letting them be kids. It reminds me of the Lavar Ball and Lonzo Ball situation Lavar was hyping him up as the next Jordan and constantly hogging the spotlight from his son and placing unreasonable expectations on his son now look at Lonzo he may never play basketball again and part of that is his daddy's fault.
thank god we all are seeing this for what it is. A dad who is living through his son who just wants to have fun with his friends and make his dad happy and his father is taking advantage of that
Pat: He’s not very good at this internet stuff Also Pat: gives him almost 12 minutes on his platform with 2.2 Million (and counting) followers I’d say his dad is pretty good at working social media lol. You just helped him out a bunch lol
Who?
Imagine calling yourself baby Hall of famer when you haven't accomplished anything yet 😂
Kids getting Macaulay Culkin’d. Guaranteed.
This kid will be humbled within 5 years.

it has nothing to do with the kid being humbled, he’s a little kid who got forced into the position he’s in. drop the addy I’ll come Humble you

If you think bringing all those eye to your child to play football is a good thing something tells me your doing it for yourself. The dad is living vicariously through his sons life and it’s pathetic. These dads love the attention of scouts having to talk with them. Because their sons are 12. See it all the time in this world.

@@TheGreatMatty Not true. I am friends with Ricardo aka No Femur Kid on KZread and he gave me the scoop on Baby Gronk and the Dad. Dad is good people and is just ahead of the game. Especially with the NIL the way it is now. Gronk has some serious talent and size for his age. He's on a great path. You can see it yourself on plenty of No Femur Kid videos. Don't hate the player hate the game.
That's a hell of a lot of pressure on the kid. Won't end well.
love this 🤣🤣
Dad seems smart if you ask me. If he’s truly saving the money for his son, that is. Not only does he have the kid on track to become a professional athlete, but just in case he never gets there, he has a plan for his kid to be financially stable and backed before he even gets to college. So many ppl would love to have parents that would do what they are doing for him. The act is a little over the top but who cares? He’s a kid having fun.

Is he having fun tho? We'll see if he's having fun when he's getting punked and bullied by other kids.

Kids don’t enjoy being pimped out by their loser ass parents trying to live vicariously through them because they didn’t have the talent or drive to make something of themselves

@@viktorstagnetti7491 If he's actually making 100k/yr and saving it then the kid is set up.
Baby Gronk will probably end up being a 5’6, 150lb adult.

Pat McAfee is a perfect example, of what is wrong with sports.

Wait 5 years, NIL is going to be the worst thing that has ever happened to high school and college sports. And then remember that sports media fought and begged for this (mostly ESPN, Pat. Your new boss).
In 10-15 years we’ll see a video titled “WHAT HAPPENED TO BABY GRONK?”
