Honestly this really proves how important it is to groom your pets at a very young age. The difference between “I don’t know what this is but I trust this human” to “I don’t know what this is and I don’t trust anybody!” is simply exposure

@@alicefelice_ probably as soon as their vaccinations are done and they can walk around outside safely. I would personally suggest you potty train them first, as you don't necessarily want them to pee on the groomer if they get scared Hope this helps :)

My dog kept looking over with a concerned look - _"Do the little ones need help?_ Oh... it's that magic thing that everyone keeps aiming at me when I'm smiling." He's got a very strong parental streak and will protect puppies, kittens, and babies/toddlers. He's even raised kittens.

I love that. My children's babysitter had a female American Staffordshire terrier that really helped with the littles. She guarded them during nap time. And let them ride her like a horse and they used her ears has handles. So very gentle with the kiddos. Your story reminded me of this story. ❤🐕

I adore how so many puppies climb up onto her shoulder, they're like "This is really scawy! Please hold me!!!"

This is how baby animals should get a professional groom. That way they aren't crazy getting a first groom as an adult. You do such a good job easing their fears, thank you.

Could there be anything cuter or sweeter than a bunch of wet, in shock kittens and puppies getting their first bath and blow dry? I think not! Tons of adorableness. 💚💚

My brother figured it out. He had to take care of a cat that followed me home ( i couldent cus i had to travel to another country ) It was years ago and that cat is now a grandma with many litters. Told me that they can be very easily conditioned to not fear water when young. You can also do it when they are adults but it takes longer!

Some cats loves water. My brother once had a longhaired norwegian forest cat. When I came to visit the cat stood outside the bathroom door screaming while I took a shower. I was so confused but my brother told me it was because I had closed the door and didn't let the cat in to join me showering.

If you always pretend the owner is watching you, you will always treat them this way! You’re so kind!

The puppies needing a hug while drying is never not adorable 🥰 the emotional support is real lol, and the fact that the kittens are so calm while bathing is a testament that people need to put more work into training their cats when theyre young to make the bathing easier on everyone 😅😅

The fact that Vanessa was holding some of them while grooming, says everything about her character ❤❤

When I would foster dogs from the ASPCA, I had to crate train them even though personally I would never use crates and getting a youngster used to crate training, waiting for their food, bathing, just about anything… So much easier when they’re started young! _PS love your channel, it’s breed informative and fun to watch!_ ❤ 🐾

That’s why early acclimatization to water (and the blow-dryer) is critical, be they dogs or cats. But I believe slow, gradual acclimatization is even better, combined with lots of encouragement and treats.
