Update, just pulled it out of the oven. Holy shit. It's ridiculously tender. Marinading it for 2 days resulted in the fat turning to liquid when it cooked, so the marinade and fat formed its own gravy. I roasted the potatoes with it instead of boiling them and the potatoes absorbed all the flavour. Fucking amazing. Eating this with more mustard on the side is a sin. The flavour is absolutely amazing on its own. I've never had pork like this before. Holy shit, Boris, give your babushka a big hug for this, her recipe is outstanding.

Short version: Boris gives me a lot of comfort and hope Long version: Me and my father were never really that close (emotionally) so after a little bit of time after starting to watch Boris, I started seeing him like kind of a father figure. I start watching his videos whenever I feel like crying or having a mental breakdown and he put a smile on my face. He helped me through thought times, when I was getting bullied and replaced by my (old) best friend, I felt like my life was over, but Boris gave me hope that everything is going to be alright. I came across Boris’ channel when I was in country…Afghanistan. I was with a unit but ultimately worked alone due to having to spread manpower around our different bases. I came across this video during Christmas, and at the end of the video I felt like I was sitting there eatin with him, but really i was eating a sadly cooked Christmas meal alone in bunk. It was easy to be kinda sad about it but this video lifted me up for the rest of that night
