In general the people in Europe paid less attention to race/color than America did. Heard from jazz cats just like soul cats when they first came to Europe no one cared that they were black. People came for their music. Guys like B.B. King, Muddy Waters, John Lee Hooker, Buddy Guy to name some became famous in in the UK before America. Music has always brought people together regardless of race or color.

I saw BB King live before he died. There is a story about his many marriages. His last wife wanted to stay married to him so here is what she did.....she had on her left butt cheek tattooed a B. On her right butt cheek she had another B. That night, she told BB....hey BB....take a look at this as she pulled down her undies.....and he yelled out....who the hell is BOB? I don't know if that was a true story....but it is a good one.

I anderstand what you mine. My English is not so well to explain you (i'am a froglegs). But try to anderstand. The boss is BB king. First we dont look to rob de star, steal the show. And we must stay blues, keeping The all spirit of every body on the stage, staying in the same trip. So, Slash respect all that because he is a profesional. Slash choice something light, but very good respecting the blues and playing a missisipi stuff style on the right tradition, you can hear BB saying that after de Slash solo at the time 9;24 .. So he show what he got, showing something spécial like he must be in the history of blues. You must hear again how he go on and come back , and " the smooth turn around". Your "question" (affirmation) is good Enzo Manalang. ;) :) Thumb up for you.

Enzo Manalang Slash has said in a previous interview, I forget who he was with, that he said he’s never really been into blues and it’s never really been his strong suit. He’s doing what he knows how to with the blues, and he did a fantastic job in my opinion

Go listen to prime BB King! He smokes everybody but Dereck Trucks on that stage I his prime, and probably Derek too. His phrasing and licks are unmatched and copied by everyone.

The sounds of a womans true soul, will always force men to bare their own in music. Its a law of nature. Soon as she opened her mouth....not one of them could help it. What a beautiful thing. That guy with the red guitar (derek trucks? never heard him before!) blew my mind...couldnt help but burst into laughter of joy and disbelief when he played. Her aching hearty voice, BB's dignity and self deprecating humour, slash's melody, Ronnie wood's mischief and soul, even mick hucknells desperate reaching out....what a lovely gathering. How lucky we are to have it now at our fingertips.
