Michael I’ve been watching your videos and they’ve convinced me to check out cheaper options for my WW2 style jackets. I’ve been buying Eastman, Aero and Real McCoy and spending a fortune. You’ve given me a new look on buying cheaper and not letting quality suffer. Hey I still get highend but I bought an Avi D-1 and it’s just excellent. As good as a high end in my opinion. It’s actually spec’d correctly where Aeros aren’t. Just wear the shit out of it. I sleep in mine and after a few nights perfect fit. Also I go for long sweaty walks😂 Try the Avi D-1. I’ve subscribed 👍

This jacket doesn’t look like it’s made of real shearling…I’m willing to bet it’s not just judging by eye looking at that inner insulation. Probably polyester Sherpa, which is a bummer.

I would recommend measuring your chest and shoulders. I got a size small, it fits pretty well but a bit tight around the chest. Which jacket are you planning on getting?

That seems like a nice jacket! I think its real leather and shearling but not really top quality and a little thinner. But top quality is like over $1,000 so I get it lol.

@@rietzhu After watching it again I'll say that it's certainly full grain leather and real shearling. But the leather and shearling used isn't as thick and lush as other higher end B3 jackets. Different brands use different cuts, and some cost more than others. Just look at the same B3 Bomber jacket style offered by top leather clothing brands like Schott NYC and Cockpit USA; if you do you'll see the differences I'm talking about. The jacket in the video is still definitely well made and worth the money though, and it's probably a better buy than anything costing over a grand by the expensive name brands.

Michael Hsu ......schott nyc b3 shearling is a well made shearling you can google/KZread it. 1. That fur is fake is not real or majestic looking. 2. that leather is not real leather. As there’s no point of using real leather with fake fur.
