For Ark's dive bombers, Use one with a fast reload like the D4Y Suisei or the Fairey Fulmar because her DB efficiency is low and her main use is to time her slows for the other backliners to do the work. The Helldivers are better used by anyone other than her.

The core shop Barracuda 831 & Gear Lab Suisei divebomber are the best for increasing her launch speed without completely sacrificing damage with the Fulmar. The 831 has a 24% chance to apply armor break as well.

As well as the core data McClusky so she deals more damaga agisnt CVs like Soryuu Meta and the Guild boss

@@ScudX only real time you would want to use the 831 is when you run with BBs, since armor breaks only affects attacks based off of the Firepower stat. But the Suisei divebomber is amazing for timing.

@@Dwivil NJ is in my boss fleet and supposedly their armor breaks don't stack, so that's what I do.

@@ScudX I was thinking of going with 831st Barracudas on Ark Royal along with my other CVs and CVEs since they have AP Bombs too, but after seeing how this all works... I don't know. . .

I've always used Yuugure with Shinano and one other IJN,Yuugure so underrated :( Totally recommend her for people that dont have Kazagumo.

Shinano is still the heavier ship I think, though I am not sure if she is the heaviest ship in the game or is it FdG.

As many said, Ark has low efficiency on her Dive Bomber slot, plus a cool proc-on slow. Meaning she should use a Dive Bomber with short reload, since she deals most of her damage with her torp bombers, in order to sync her with other main fleet ships thus allowing them to take advantage of her slow to set up their own damage. Before her retrofit, she systematically had to use a beacon to launch her airstrikes -and her slow- before everyone else, but now it doesn’t feel as much necessary, although a short reload DB remains very very useful. Anyway, giving her a SB2C or XSB3C is a huge mistake. Hope you’ll consider.

For people running Ark along with Shinano in boss fleet, SB2C or XSB3C is still great for syncing bc Ark will always launch just before Shinano (my example is both at level 125 and Ark without homing beacon), and she can still deal some more damage with those 2 dive bombers. Not so sure about other CVs for people without Shinano tho cuz I've always been using Shinano.

It works with Shinano because she has low reload, and that’s why he used a Centaur/Shinano/Ark comp in that video : you don’t need to do a lot of changes, Centaur has high reload, Shinano low. Ark has enough room to be useful even though she’s ass-geared. But it might be harder to make Ark sync with Ark Meta, Formidable, AvP, so on and so forth with the gear Ander gave us

I had my Ark shot like 0.5s after Shinano, that way makes Shinano hits most of her planes, then Ark's planes hit... Making TONS OF DAMAGE

My Ark Royal isn't Retrofitted yet, but I'm working on it Would having Barracudas and Helldivers be my best bet since I don't have Gold Ryusei and Gold Skypirate? I'm running Purple Steam Catapults since I don't have any Gold ones for her (Those Experimental planes are a pain in the ass to get 😒)

Soryuu Meta has a position rest every 21s so I recommend you using a faster DB for Ark Royal.(take Fulmar for example).

Can ark royal use swordfish from core shop? Will the slow stacks?

Probably just to match the timings, otherwise maybe because he dont have any other faster dive bomber that has a big different in speed anyways. Suisei may be planned to be used in other carrier hence he didnt use it either.

I mean what can you expect from somebody who just looks at an equipment tier list and just equip whatever is shown as best in slot in the tier list and make a video out of it for ad revenue. Guy have no idea what he is doing, which is apparent in his souryuu meta fight and his guild raid but it is fine since he is at least trying.
