since a lot of people have commented about it, it seems that ADP is a bootleg company that uses stolen art for their dakimakura covers. I didn't know anything about this (I also didn't know that dakimakuras had this much stuff to explain/research) and jumped at the idea of getting a free body pillow for a review (I'm not being paid for this video in any other way shape or form). My apologies for that, I should have known better and done more research. I've seen some people in the comments recommending some legitimate companies like CuddlyOctopus, AmiAmi, and Dakimakuri, so if you're planning on getting a dakimakura for yourself you can support the actual artists through one of these sites instead!

Dakimakuri is great, reasonably priced and the quality is excellent, shipping only took me 2 weeks to arrive so I’d definitely recommend them.

Back in my early days I accidentally ordered some bootleg figures off of ebay since at the time I didn't know any better. I was new to the hobby and didn't have any friends to ask advice from. Sometimes you just have to learn things in life through trial and error and there's nothing wrong with that. Also I wanted to say that hopefully this won't deter you away from possibly buying more dakimakura covers/pillows in the future (if you like your experience with them). They're possibly one of the best ways to embrace your weebness after all! If you ever feel like taking another shot at buying a cover or two and feel a bit overwhelmed by the amount of information just hit me up in on your discord. I go there by the same username.

ADP is a chinese bootleg company pretending to be Japanese selling authentic products. Their pillow covers feels like showcurtains compared to the real thing and the colours go away after a few wash. The inner pillow is the worst like the worst pillow ever.If you wanna buy Dakimakura and also support the illustrators try Amiami although it is chinese they sell real authentic products imported from Japan. Also there is Dakimakuri which is an American company which produces original arts for their covers instead of stealing low quality image like ADP does. The inner pillows of Dakimakuri is also great.

As someone that doesn't know a lot about dakimakuras, I really appreciate your input. to be honest, I kind of jumped at the offer of getting a free pillow and didn't do enough research about them beforehand. I had no idea that ADP wasn't legit, so if they contact me again I won't accept their offer. I'll check out the companies that you recommended, and I'll do some more research on dakimakuras in order to regain my status as a man of culture.

I understand that but she is my top 3 based on that I love the historical aspect, the Iowa's alone are super powerful/sexy on its curves and humongous canons....also MURICAN.
