I been here last summer and had a great time. We went hiking and surfing. The people are so nice and the restaurants are amazing. We went surfing at Ribeira Grande and it was the best experience. Also bring a drone for volcano footage. ❤
Lovely episode. Very nicely put together !
Awsome Nic...have not seen any videos form Azores...really nice ...very clean tubes...all the storms out there ..might be some more tubes on the way...ya'll enjoy ...

The people of Madeira island were the sugar cane workers and also whale catchers in Hawaii! Don't no why they never mention that? The ukulele is an instrument that was brought from the people of Madeira island to Hawaii we call it Braguinha! Not underestimating the azzorians. I'm half madeirence half açoriano! Great show you've got here. 👍

I always wanted to go to the Azores. Dreamt of sailing across the Atlantic to its beautiful shores. I'm waiting to see the Hydrangeas. Maybe at the end.
Mais um fantástico video a todos os níveis. Obrigado Nic!

Loved my brief time there in the nineties. So old world and that's what I really loved about it. Most of the waves I found in October were a little too crazy for a solo surfer with no one around, but I found some nooks and crannies that were just right :)

Curiosamente nunca ouvi ninguém pronunciar o nome das ilhas assim em inglês. Sempre ouvi “azorz” e não “eyzorz”. Grande vídeo!
the only places where there is no surf Crowded still… We don't know what to expect in the future on that beautiful island...
I have a house on faial and want to move there full time. I need a surf spot close to me though !
Hey do you have any map where you were on san miquel? Or like which places are must see and where the surf is usually great? Im bigginer to intermediate surfer (not doing barells any times soon) 😅 Banger video tho

You can barely walk? All you did was step offs!
Wouldn’t recommend the Acores😢 Mosquitoes EVERYWHERE! Extremely expensive. Dirty beaches. Loud motorcycles with teens everywhere. No consistent surf…

Awesome,im gonna be labeled as a hater but, haveing enjoyed that part of the world for almost 2 decades it sad to see unnecessary attention seeking, that will only attract mass surf tourism(mostly wealthy kooks) and as been proven over and over since internet arrived only ruins SECRET/SACRED places.Anyone over 25 years old knows this.We have done it in the past, though paper mags not or misnaming places like this.We will never understand this new greed for coughs,i mean Nic has no $$/survival issues,So what's the point?Aloha to all, and if you love peace, nature simplicity and the sacred waters...EARN IT,ENJOY IT AND DONT NAME IT.
