i don't know if anyone will read this but i think azi's "i forgive you" meant something different then most people think. The kiss wasn't tender or romantic, it was aggressive and desperate. It was Crowleys last effort to convince azi to stay with him. I think azi's "i forgive you" meant he was forgiving Crowley for using how they felt about each other as a weapon essentially. He was showing azi what he was leaving. Pouring all of his anger and hurt into one kiss in an effort to hurt azi in turn. So azi said he forgave him, but crowley doesn't want to be forgiven. He wants to be chosen.

I agree but I also believe all of this to be truth we aren't reading between lines they do really love each other and I think the kisses as hurtful as it was was a real spark of true emotion from Crowley in that moment

Yeah, I do think Crowley kiss wasnt a romantic one precisely, and that hurted Aziraphale, but I dont think it was deliberate from Crowley. I think our little demon was acting on instinct by then, she was terrified that he was going to lose Aziraphale when he at last could see what he was feeling, what there was their relationship. He was going to confess, somehow, and then Aziraphale horrible news came before he could do anything. I also think that he wasnt trying to hurt Aziraphale with the kiss, more likely, the kiss was a way, a temptation, for Aziraphale to choose him. Crowley was desesperated.

The breaking point was when Aziraphale said he would be in charge and Crowley was his second in command. There was never one better than the other one underneath or subservient. They were two cosmic entities alone together. They were equals.

Why am I doing this to myself? This is a lovely video. This ending is so beautiful and sad, and it hurts because it is beautiful. I love and empathize with both characters so much; I can see both the reasoning each uses to make their decision based on their strengths and limitations. We wouldn't hurt so much if we didn't love them; that's the price we pay for love. It makes us vulnerable and doesn't always make us happy.

The way it's a song about eternal devotion but all the dialogue is about them struggling to come together. HEARTBREAKING (and very well done)

It sadly was there, all along. The misunderstanding of each other. Crowly hates Heaven and they're ways that only make restrictions, and Hell for their suppressive and desgusting and punishing ways. He just wanted to be free of it all... Both sides are Toxic, and not promising for either side. He loves Azi despite they're difference's but Azi may not love Crow ly the same way. Or he might, just can't admit it. He really is blinded by Heavens promises. And trusts in the Heaven he wishes was there. But Crow ly has open eyes to the dangers And nothing seems perfect from either side. So desperation hits Crow ly. He goes for it. Only the timing has thrown Azi. Completely off, and it only made him return to a system that never worked. Yet Crow ly blames himself, he is kind, and loyal, also passionate, and sensitive. and fighting his nature all the time to allow that part of him come thru, but also ashamed of it... I'll tell you whott Angel, you just please listen now, and then you can tell me anything you want. I really need you. I know you have your heart, misguided heart at that, on making everything right. But they only want to use you. They tried to control Gabriel, look what happened there?¿ Nothing ever amounts to anything good. I didn't love this season so much, I found it not well written and maybe this turning point with kiss and all was too fast...but as a person this scenes warmed my heart and now I can't do anything except watching again and again them, they're so perfect and not, they're more humans than humans. I'd like that Azraphael wouldn't be so much proud and attached to his desire to be appriciated from angels that don't deserve him

If you had just confessed your love, only to be asked to change your entire self to make that person happy would you do it? If they can't accept and love you, as you are what's the point in trying? You won't be happy and you probably won't be want they wanted even if you do change. What is wrong with the Crowley that's been with him as a friend for thousands of years? Why can't Aziraphale accept that version? Why can he only be with him when he is something/someone else? In the end Aziraphale chose Heaven over Crowley and I want to see the fall out more than anything!! Because if anyone has a right to be angry, bitter and vengeful it's Crowley, bearing your heart and soul and then being asked to changed your self for that love to be accepted nah. Let Aziraphale come back to see the damage he's done and how his choices have festered in Crowley. Because let's be real he could be a "real" demon if he wanted, if he believes he's unlovable as he was, why not be worse? What's the point in being "good" if that's still not good enough for the person he loves??.

THIS WAS SOO GOOD!!! literally had me crying out in pain quite a few times, using sleeping at last for them is killer in the best way ;_;

Want to reanact "Misery" and FORCE the author to write his story according to your limited world-view? It is a complex saga spannig all of creation and it had time to simmer for 30 years in various brains - if you are not OK with the cliff-hanger ending that was used to rearrange the pieces on the board (for a season 3 finale) - write YOUR OWN fan-fiction! It is quite hard to put a good idea into writing. I'd recommend you read Neil Gaiman's "The Graveyard Book" which took nearly 20 years to get published after the first glimpse of an idea - it had to be good, but that took some time😁
