On top of being talented , I think she's thriving because she seems to genuinely want to entertain.

Ayo’s character in the bear is so validating to many femme chefs in the industry trying to change the culture. I feel so seen and to see her win is a win for so many of us!

I had never identified with a character as much as I did with Sydney, Ayo's character in The Bear, and when I found out that she had been nominated for a Golden Globe for her role, I was really rooting for her to win the award, and lo and behold, She deservedly took it, and I'm very happy about it. This girl still has a long way to go!! ❤

As an Liberian woman who's had her name butchered by others my entire life, it brings me so much joy just to hear these mainstream spaces and hosts pronounce an immigrant's name correctly and have it be as normally used as any Western name. I'm sure they were given name cards and whatnot and it seems like a small gesture but it goes a long way for me. 🥹Loving this for Ayo Edebiri and Ego Nwodim and all the other African women with their big beautiful names.

Love me some Ayo, and soo glad she touched on the prep for making the omelet. Im a chef, and used to make recipes during the pandemic for my job and their digital service at the time for ppl to utilize. I would always tell ppl that i dont just come up with recipes and do it, it takes time because youre constabtly majing and slightly adjusting to get things perfected. And at a point, you can definitely just get tired of the thing you created. Lol. Anyway, nice touch and wish her all the more success. Hopefully when season three of The Bear starts (if not already) i could pop up some how. *fingers crossed* stay great everyone.
