AYAHUASCA - 1 Year Later: How it completely changed my life.

It has now been 1 year since I traveled to Iquitos, Peru where I took part in 4 Ayahuasca ceremonies. In this video I explain the reasons why I decided Ayahuasca was the right decision for me to do. I also delve into what to expect and how to prepare, then move on to the benefits I received from taking part. and how my life has never been the same since. More so I'm not the same person as I was before I did Ayahuasca. It changed me forever.
I hope you enjoy the video and if in some way this video helps someone in any way possible, I will be extremely happy with that result.
Ayahuasca is not for everyone and if it's something that you do not agree with then I respect your views and opinions but I do feel it is very important for us to be open and accepting of other cultures and their ways and practices of life and healing. I Feel it's important for people not to become dogmatic and always be receptacle to learning. If something can help people live a happier and more fulfilled life, help people deal with issues that a lifetime of medication has not been able to, then I do not see how it can be viewed as something negative.
Thank you so much for watching and if you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask. I would be happy to answer any questions!
Also I would love to hear from anyone who has participated in Ayahuasca and they're experience from it.
And if you know of any further spiritual practices that has help you in any way then please let me know, i'm always so excited to learn new things.

Thank you for sharing your experience. I went through 2 ceremonies a few days ago because my dog passed away tragically last year. It completely shattered me and the grief was inconsolable. She was my soul dog. Like you, I have never done any drugs, smoked cigarettes or barely drunk in my life. I found ayahuasca documentaries by chance. I wanted to see my dog again. The experience for me was eye opening and difficult. It is not a miracle medicine but I do know it starts to help me heal. ❤🐕

Thank you for this video! I would have never guessed that you were a shy person before ayahuasca. I’m an introvert/shy/socially reticent person and I’m hopeful that ayahuasca will help me be a little less wary of people. My ceremony is in a few weeks. Wish me luck!

@@matthewsugg9265 my experience with the ayahuasca was actually mostly peaceful and beautiful, but there was a lot of vomiting and misery at the end. When everyone else was recovered, I was laying on the ground unable to walk, feeling very sick. People came to check on me and bring me water at times, but I also felt very alone at times. An overall takeaway for me was periods of aloneness is something I can and should embrace, but ultimately I am loved and the universe will provide. Since then, my social anxiety has not completely resolved but it did get a lot better. And as of this moment, I’m in the hospital recovering from a scary heart issue, but luckily I am alive and I will be for some time. It’s mostly the recent illness that has eliminated my social anxiety. I am highly motivated, determined, and excited to live every moment to the full and not let fear hold me back from enjoying life and making connections with people.

I really enjoyed getting to know about your experience, I have my ceremony in a couple of days and what really resonated is that Ayahuasca will always look for you. I remember a friend talking about his experience out of the blue, last year around march and at that point I got the feeling that maybe something was leaning me towards the experience. I kept pushing the experience back, however my life has turned around since then, I was unemployed and kinda figuring out what I really wanted to do and trying to think of ways I could improve myself but what really happened was that I lost direction, lost focus and ended up losing my wife, my kids and although I do see them, the family unit is not there anymore and everything just crumbled, I've come to think that one of the problems that could be the root is that I unconciously have never felt enough as a person, I dont feel worthy,....hence why I was/am always trying to be better(better father, better husband, better human) when in reality I was creating a separation as I was only living in my head.....I am really looking forward for the experience and although I feel nervous about it, I know that I was called to do it. Thank you for the video.

“food makes with good intention” doesnt sound weird. the reason we should say a prayer before we eat and the reason once anyone makes food should not make it with anger hatred sadness.. everything is energy our thoughts and moods are energy that directly goes to food to our pets to another person to our plants and they all feel what we feel. it is true man. Saia do ego.

Thanks a lot for the video. I have gained a lot of information. I am a Healer and a starseed. I'm about to try my first ayahuasca right here in the USA. What's funny is that you can buy the ingredients on the internet after the right search for legal hallucinogenic. Meanwhile, I know that you don't use drugs but if you smoke weed and meditate on it you will get back to the same place because that your body will remember the feeling. Until you go back to Peru this is what I recommend.

buying ingredients alone is not the solution. its important to have people who guide your properly through the entire process keep you safe and sound. i believe in human community connection where the plant medicine is the secondary player and the main players are us humans the community we form together and share together.

Important question: Do you know any peruvian person or any other amerindian person who ever seek for this kind of treatment? Have you met any of these people in the retreats, other than the shamans there? I've watched plenty of videos about Ayahuasca and I can only see western/americans/europeans looking for this kind of experience, which makes me think this can be more a kind of trendy activity for adventurous and wealthy people than a medicine, but of course I can be wrong. Anyone?
