    You could get your side plates very close to the front bag, it just depends how they mount. As for the rear loops, mine was too small to pull that off but I’m not sure how it would work if I got a longer one.

    Something alot of people oversee: the JPC2 and SPC both have little loops at the front plate bag. if you rotate your side plates 90 degrees you can just molle loop them into the actual front plate. so no matter what Cummerbund or how you have it sized the plates always sit right. if its not an Option the SPiritus side plates acoomendate for a tube at the front

    You're gonna need something with offset molle mounts on the side platebag that's found on the spiritus side plate bags. I have the crye side plate bags as well and with the tube and tegris capture on the buckle forming a sort of ramp, there's too much thickness at the tube to use a standard plate bag like the crye jpc side plate bag. With the spiritus plate bag, it just curves inward since there isnt a mounting point at that end and I can get the side plate right on the front plate. Let me know if anything is unclear, it's hard to describe it without pictures.

    anyone know any FS tubes structural cummerbunds that are NOT 2 band? upgrading a duty carrier with these 2 band meme cummerbunds is pointless because I will have pouches and soft armor mounted on to them that are taller than that anyways, so half of said pouches and armor end up dangling about without support.

    i still dont see how the SPC little front Slot and piece on the Cummerbund do Literally anything at all. the ferro concepts 3AC cummerbund has a Tegris sheet in it and its super rigid. the piece extends under the front velcro giving you the exact same kind of Load bearing structure as the Odd SPC system. (not regarding this tube version. strictly talking the Crye SPC cummerbund) overall seems like a gimmic or something that should have been at Shot show 2018 or something. the Equinox looks great. i wonder how it is on a AVS with a axl micro harness and Crye Yote instead of an Harness. id imagine its still less comfortable than just a harness and a 1 or 2 band on top but you get the Tubes. i run an AVS harness with a 1 band that has a ITW buckle on one side. acting like a Tube. also for your SPC you could probably move the cummerbund up 1 row at the back so you got more size and then just run the Axl adapters not upside down and the plates will sit right. just an idea

  • @EODFish

    @EODFish

    2 жыл бұрын

    The SPC system works significantly better than the 3AC in my opinion. Those tabs are super far from a gimmick and give you a better performing “harness” functionality than the more bulky Ferro option.

    @@EODFish but what difference is there? there isnt more movement or strechability is there? to me it looks like both 3AC and SPC Cummerbund have a layer of tegris so i cant imagine being that big of a difference. although while i really liked the FCPCs comfort a buddy found that he doesnt like it at all. so prolly just different body shapes. • @PHIllip324

    @@Nick-hm9rh The difference is a more secure and stronger fit. By having the tabs go into the plate bags, you're providing more support where the cummerbund meets the plate bag, therefore making it hold weight better.

    Two things: 2-band cummerbunds don’t allow you to raise the plates higher, the Crye SPC specifically has extra lower slots that you put the cummerbund into to get the raising effect. It would work with a 3-band the same way. Next. You need to redact what you said about the sizing of the cummerbund before you make people waste their money. The cummerbund is enormous just like the stock SPC cummerbund. I dunno what you were talking about when trying to put this info out, but it is blatantly incorrect information that will make people waste their money

  • @EODFish

    @EODFish

    Жыл бұрын

    No on both accounts. Two bands do allow you to raise the bag because you can mount it low in the back and high to the top of the placard in front, that isn’t possible with a three band. Having talked to Crye designers, my stance on the length stays the same.

    @@EODFish a two band makes zero different on a JPC because it doesn’t have the lower cummerbund slots like a SPC has. If there was a rigid 3-band cummerbund it would have exactly the same effect on a SPC/Shaw ARC. It’s about having extra slots
