Japan's anthem sounds the most peaceful despite being the most hardcore and extreme Axis country.

im only talking about the three principal partners in the Axis alliance Germany, Italy, and Japan, as i mentioned, when they lost the war the allies did make sure to get rid and even prohibid the anthem and flags of germany and italy, but japan kept the anthem and both flags the rising sun which is still used in navy and hinomaru which is the offecial flag of japan the only thing changed is the shade of red. the whole this is fascinating

Only error I see with this, is Finland never officially singed the Tripartide pact, although they did regularly co-operate with the Axis powers, specifically N4Z1 Germany, they were never official member of the Axis. Other than that, this video is absolutely amazing! Keep the hard work up!

In the 80s, many countries absolutely banned certain national anthems like Nazi Germany, Axis Powers, Communists, Capitalists banned each other.

Fun fact Finland and Estonia (the country right below Finland) have the same anthem but different lyrics, it so happens that I'm from Estonia 🇪🇪

@@98based30 if you meant the version that was in the video is the slovak version of the yugoslav anthem, that would be kinda incorrect, however, it was the Slovak State version of "Hej Sloveni", in fact if I'm not mistaken the version that the Slovak State used was the earliest version of "Hej Sloveni" by Samo Tomášik, before he changed Slováci into Slovani to include slavs in general (at least that was what I read from Wikipedia, cmiiw)

The translation for the Romanian anthem is incorrect, because in the recording we hear only the second stanza, while the subtitles start with the verses of the first stanza.

Excellent work You sure put in the hours putting in the hours One thing though, Finland was not a member of the axis powers Finland was a co-belligerant wich gave it a slightly different situation, diplomatically speaking In 1944 Finland was able to make a peacetreaty with the Soviets with was a lot more generous then the treaties made with axis members Although Finland lost territory, they did not have communist regime forced on them And Stalin left them pretty much alone Fieldmarschal Mannerheim was a very clever man He proved that more than once But apart from that tiny mistake your work is first rate as always

In this video there is a small error concerning the Kingdom of Italy because its official anthem which goes from 1871 to 1946 is the Marcia Reale and not Giovinezza which is instead the official anthem of the fascist party. Edit:In reality, the national anthems of Yugoslavia and Iraq should also have been on this list, because the first was part of the Tripartite Pact for 23 days, while the second fought the British with few supplies from Germany and Italy.

Here are the axis countries most of them are 'land lock' countries. And comparatively lesser massive overseas territories who can provide them proper resources both material and human resources were lesser or almost having no territories that's why they lost the war otherwise those were skilled militaries than allied forces at that time. Kingdom of Japan and Thailand also helped to cause of armed independence movement in indian subcontinent and southeast Asia.

One of the real reasons was Yugoslavia with its constant partisan-ness. Only Hungary and Slovakia were landlocked, and also it was not the Kingdom of Japan. It was the Empire of Japan.

Azad Hind Forces had their own anthem, often called the Resistance Anthem of India, for those who have been wondering.

Thailand and Finland are the two of my favorites countries out of the Axis Powers, both still exist to this day (same government I guess), both switches sides, both never officially signed the Tripartite pact, and both have really cool flags 🇫🇮🇹🇭
