Axillary artery branches

Ғылым және технология

We change the name of the subclavian artery to the axillary artery and then to the brachial artery as it passes from the neck to the axilla and to the arm. The axillary artery has a bunch of branches that supply blood to structures in the shoulder region and anastomose with other arteries doing similar jobs.
Let's have a look at the branches of the axillary artery, their names, where they branch from, and where they go. If you want to.

Thank you! Already 3 weeks in and there are plenty of new names and terms, but most people say it gets better as you go on.

Loved the way you taught this! I get cadavers with Corona this semester, but we're limited on lab time. This cleared up my confusion on how things branched and trying to visualize it. I loved your videos in undergrad but the depth you go into now is phenomenal for grad school.
