I just got into the 24ths a couple months ago. I definitely have the crawler bug, dont know if i should go for one of these or a TRX4. Either way there going to be too big to have fun with in my backyard like i can do with the 24th.

I would have preferred a 775 brushed setup and about 400+ less dollars on the price. Then one could buy a real brushless combo. Not some 3s rated (4s capable all day) crap combo. No disrespect to hobbywing but that isn’t a sixth scale setup.

It definitely looks more capable as a trail truck than a rock crawler... Awesome though! I don't think the price seems too outrageous for a 1/6th.... Be awesome to see some modded ones in a few months.

Yea I wanna see if it’s gonna be good at actually crawling. I’ve seen some action slow crawling on rocks but have yet to see it really get pushed to its limits, also hard to tell since there’s not much to compare it to at the moment

It looks like somebody has had their thumb on the pulse of large scale RC rock crawling and now it's FINALLY gonna happen with a tried & true real world proven platform and I'm glad that somebody listened cause if I can preorder one I'm gonna get 1 as soon as I can!(finances givin😬) I was the 1st one that I knew of(in my area) to get an axial scorpion back in 2009 or 10 and I still have one along with an original Tamyia Bruiser Toyota,a new(I forgot who makes it)Bruiser Clone Toyota,a TRAXXAS TRX-4 Mercedes G-WAGON( also with an AXIAL JEEP CHEROKEE body),a 2nd gen Tamiya Grasshopper,2 TEAM ASSOCIATED(a DR-10 & an SC-10),2 WPL(1:10 Micro Truck & a 1:16 Military Force Truck),and a Team Losi Short Course Truggy(not sure what scale,.. 1:12ish?) and I just sold my TRAXXAS XO-1 because I just got tired of driving 1/2 an hour to 45 minutes to the few places that had room to run it and I couldn't justify trying to convert it to a rally car cause it was almost perfect. So I guess nothing will fill that empty spot on my shelf as good as............ummmm what was I talking about? LOL!!!!😲😁😉😆🤣

for the extra 200 bucks over the cost of the X Maxx it should have came with a 5 speed transmission and hid lights with blinkers... imo

I’d like to tell ya “I told ya so” but you already know that lol I would’ve definitely recommended running 6s for runtime and at least 1000 oz servo . Overall glad to see some other big scale rigs on the trails

Spektrum makes the worst servos and radio gear imaginable. Luckily they teamed up with a good esc and motor company.I’ll have one secondhand in 3 months paying no more than 500 bucks. All you have to do is wait for someone to be hard up for cash. It’s how I buy all overpriced goods. It gets me what I want and does not directly support price gouging.

$1000 is crazy. Dont see this lasting very long.

I would love to have one of them on my rc Channel on here but I can’t give $1100 for it

It’s about time someone listened and built a large scale crawler! However, the Jeep thing with Axial/ Horizon absolutely needs to stop in the worst way! 🤦🏻‍♂️. Bring out an scx6 with an F350 or Denali Hd body or something cool like that and I’d buy 2! 😉

Saying it is based on the proven scx10iii is not wise. The only thing the 10.3 has been proven to be is garbage. Better let this truck stand on its own and not be tarnished from the get go.

Too expensive.!! I would just go with traction hobby cragsman..it comes with brass wieghts and it's cheaper and very capable as well...it's cool tho...axial needs too give the jeep a break.!!!!! How about a 4 runner or bronco or Tacoma please!!!!
