Axial SCX6 First Drive and Overview! Is It a Game Changer?
Ойын-сауық
Whats up guys! I got a chance to review and drive the all new Axial SCX6 before the general public gets theirs. Wow what an absolute treat it is to drive this new truck. It's MASSIVE but more importantly, I think this will be industry defining for the crawling side. Sure, its not cheap, but dangit its awesome. Just imagine the things we will now see in the aftermarket and how the competition will react to this. Go Axial!

Thanks man! Yea the realism in off-roading is awesome! The extra weight and size really give you more time to react and see what you need to input. Super cool.
I see three down falls, price, steering servo and shifting servo mount, other than that beautiful rc.

Yeah, man! Plastic Pumpkin-Cover... STATIC (not FOLDABLE, at 1/10 TRX4 NEW BRONCO they are FOLDABLE) Side-Mirrors at this weight(25Pound???) an absolut "NO GO"! For this Price!!! But: make a mighty hype and the people will bay it, the price is allmost irrelevant. Maybe 20 sponsert Pro's around the Globe... maybe 10 Video's per Pro and it goes for it's self... THAT'S THE WAY IT GOES EVERY TIME. It's on you, what you do... Every year a new idea... I think, i MUST HAVE these "must have"... Every year... What do you think about it? If they would take Costumers seriosly, would they send a upgrade metal(cnc-milled or casted) pumpkin cover the costumers for less... That would binds the costumers ... Stagnation means Regression... Say we in Germany😁👍

He loves chasing cars!
You would question why someone isn't running spektrum batteries ? Cuz I can get 4 batteries for the price of 1 spektrum one 🤷 and I know when it dies cuz the car stops driving 🙂
I'm going to pull the trigger now

@@StevesRC looking forward
Here's a comparison with a full-size counterpart, such as the TNT T-Rex Jeep JK (with 43 inch tires and a 121 inch stretched wheelbase). Width: 86" / 14.88" = 5.78 scale Length: 182" / 33.55" = 5.42 scale Height: 81" / 14.55" = 5.57 scale Wheelbase: 121" / 19.74" = 6.13 scale Weight: 6000 lbs / 25 lbs = 6.21 scale Tire height: 43.1" / 7.0" = 6.16 scale Rim diameter: 20" / 3.2" = 6.25 scale

For US market, its $1100 and the electronics alone are like $600. Its a very good deal for what you get.

I haven't clocked it with GPS, but I'd say every bit of 15MPH maybe 20 on 3S. 4S even faster!

Doesn't appear to have portals,if it doesn't why not,why come out with a new truck and then take a step backwards.
@StevesRC
2 жыл бұрын
The Axial team got a lot of feedback that a Jeep should indeed have straight axles to keep it scale. Also, the complexity of a portal would have increased the price even further in my opinion. Its not really a step backwards all things considered and who knows, they may come out with optional portals in the future.
its nice but for $1000 there is way, way to much plastic

Plenty of room to upgrade I guess. Certainly a lot of expensive electronics driving the cost up too. But they are very much appreciated in something this large. In today's world, everything just seems more expensive unfortunately!
