Thanks again for the compliments guys.
My wife's plastic food containers are what I used for the inner fender wells. Cut as needed and painted black.
Thanks! It is Axial's aluminum link kit for the Honcho/Jeep Wrangler wheelbase, with the plastic 4 links front and rear. They only offer the links in gray anodize now though, the red has been discontinued.
Thanks for the compliments.
Great video! That rig shines!
Nice production mate,cheers.
Love this truck, crawled kennesaw mountain here in Georgia 1,000+ elevation an I had a hell of a time.
Thank you for the compliment.
I dont think there is a better song out there for this video. Great Job!
Thanks for the compliment.
They do, everything is compatible.
Great job! Good look'n Jeep too!
Sweet Axial Jeep. I got one too and can't wait until summer to make some videos with it.
Very cool. Thanks bender. Been looking forever for a way to get the steering up out of the damage area. lol
Thanks. Will do!!
Schism...got me through summer classes my senior year in college.
Dude, this is one of the best scx10 video ever :)
This is actually and old Dingo converted to the new Jeep. So, there are some old parts on it. The red links are connected to a sway bar. I installed a Wraith front sway bar on the rear axle. I don't have any weight up front, aside from the 5000mah 3S lipo. Gearing is stock 20/87. Thanks!
Thanks!
Thanks.
Nice Truck,Great video to show it off - well done..
Nice, sounds fun!
Yeah man, great stuff for sure! Looks wicked.
Great Vid man...the body looks awesome
great crawling vid my friend .good job !!!!
Awesome job..
AWESOME TRUCK.....GREAT CRAWLING VIDEO...LIKED!!!
It is actually because of the hubs I am running on the wheels, they widen the overall stance quite a bit.
Great work..
has a tool/perfect circle sound to it
cool rig nice video
Thanks. I use Tool for most of my videos.
Correct, you need the wheels to use the spacers.
The body itself and all the molded plastic details on the Jeep make it a bit more expensive. Molded steering wheel, fender flares, d-rings, mirrors, gear shifter, etc. They all add to the overall cost.
Very nice!
It has the standard 10 amp adjustable BEC.
always a thumbs up from me bud, keep em coming.
Nice! Bring it out to CDM next time...lol Cool Rig brotha, cant wait to see it in person.
It is because of the Vanquish beadlocks. I am running wide hubs to get that stance.
Thanks for the respond
If I remember right they are 600's. As I mentioned in a few other posts I will double check to be sure, and let you guys know.
It's Axial's simple LED kit that comes with the RTR SCX10's.
Buy the biggest capacity battery you can, for long run times. There are so many batteries and chargers to choose from it is tough to make suggestions. Really depends if you are going with Lipo batteries or just standard NiMH.
Nice beedlocks!
They are very close in performance. The Ripsaw might be a bit better as far as forward bite goes. But, the Maxxis tires are very close to having that same bite, while being a little taller. For me personally, I like the Maxxis tires better because of that extra height.
Vanquish Products hooked me up with the wheels, so not sure what the cost would have been. They are available on their website.
Hey Bender, saw your truck and loved the wide wheel base so I picked up some .725 hubs. I realized two things right away. One: they dont fit my rc4wd steelies. Two: The hubs are longer than the axle shaft end where you screw the wheel nut on. Do you have to get some special wheel nuts to make these work? thanks in advance.
It is 4 linked front and rear.
Running the .725 hubs.
Correct 25 spline for Futaba servos.
I believe the hubs are 600's. I will double check though.
Just love those wheels. Have been looking forward to your video of this truck. Which hubs did u use on those wheels. I've got to have some of these :-)
The hubs are .725's. Not sure about the bolts as I got this set-up complete with the wheels, rings and hardware.
Sweet video! Definitely the best I have seen. I recently got my jeep and the hobby store sold me on 5000 mah nimh instead of lipo. May run it in a little water after some waterproofing. Which do you suggest is better and why? And just curious if you relocated your battery.
Hey Bender why are you running a stock front and rear drive line's ?. Also what's the red link with the ball end on it for at 5:56 is it a sway bar link ???. & are you running any weight up front ?. + What gearing are you running with the 55t motor on 3s cause it look's like some good wheel speed ?. I like the lack of rock slider's and what you have done with the bumper's. "AWESOME VIDEO OF A CUSTOM RUBI". ;}
What do you think about the new tire tread design compared to the ripsaws?
Tool.. nice choice ;)
so do all the scx10 parts fit the new jeep like links n steering
Axial's aluminum SCX10 shocks.
what size hub are you running, and does it come with the corresponding bolt when you by the hub
Nice job as always. Love the tunes. Seems like the wheels stick out a little bit farther than stock..is that due to the Vanquish beadlocks?
What is the part number for the high steer knuckles? I looked at the website and couldn't find them. Thanks and great vid and build!
what offset are you running on those V.P. wheels?
Vanquish Products manufactures the wheels.
I believe they are 600's. I will have to double check to be sure.
bender did you get the 600 hobs for the wheel, or 725??
What did you use to cover up the insides?
Wow men I love all your videos well I got so many ??? To ask cuz men I don't have no words for the stuff u do awesome I subb I like all d rigs on your vid men and I like keep up d amazing work men hope to hear from u peace
Looks like they work pretty good, eh
Did you have any problem with the AE-2 and the 3Cell lipo ?
what vp spacers are you running on the wheels
whats the best nimh battery for the longest runtime?
What size SLW hubs are you running? .475 or .600?
hey, what shocks are you running?
is it still 3 link in the front or u make it 4 link
can you make a vid on showing how to install the links im getting this rubicon in june and would like to know how to install them
where'd you get your light kit?
AX30526 is the part number.
Is that stock ride height?
Who does the music in your vids? Pretty cool.
Hi there, you wrote that this runs on 3s Lipo and AE-2 ESC - How is that working out? If I remember correctly that ESC is only designed for up to 2S Lipo.. is it "3S on your own risk"? ;)
Thanks. I am sure you, and your badass scooters, could do better. Your mom must be proud!
Would 2 the dislikes please leave the room! lol, nice vid bra! Never been to so cal beaches but we got loads of beaches on the nw wet coast!
$400 for the truck and transmitter and about $100 more for battery and charger
fanomanal video.
Not at all. I am running a BEC though.
It is stock.
