No I meant my first like yours I hadn't done any crawling other than my micro trail trekker. Its really a different dynamic. Its almost hypnotic watching the truck run. For example I'm sitting on the patio Friday night with the wife having a couple beers,suns starting to set I got the LEDs on and just running around my yard next thing I know its an hour and a half later and the battery is dead. Hard to explain but extremely cool. My next trail truck is going to be a cc01 landfreeder kit from Tamiya for my wife. Our anniversary is coming up so along with dinner I will give her the truck.

Yeah, they're slow but oh so much fun !!! Like you I was used to bahsers that went like a bat out of Hell and that jumped like a gazelle but the world of scalers is on a whole other level.

Heads up. If you get the axial tr link kit, it comes with all the pieces for the suspension and steering! I didn't know and ordered the tr link kit and steering link kit, so now I have a brand new steering kit leftover lol. The castle link progame cable saves some headaches programing the esc too.

Yeah. No where in the descriptions of the listing or on axialracing.com did it say the steering links came in the tr kit lol. It's good we look out for one another for sure :-) with the tr kit you can keep the front 3 link or change it to 4 link. There are even 5mm spacers to get a better angle on your rear diff.

Congratulations bro I'm sure you'll have fun going slow. Crawling is relaxing compared to racing/bashing,lol.

Fantastic looking truck mate! Congrats on your first crawler. Why is it that Axial always seems to be the last to know when it comes to the hobby they provide for ha ha ha. battery is at the back - everyone wants it at the front, steering links are made out of rubber - useless for crawling, driveshafts are the wrong way so the splines get damaged on the rocks etc LOL

Jax Teller WA I have no clue, but they sure seem to sell a lot of them. The battery in the back shocked me. I'll have to see what mods people are using for that. I didn't do a ton of research on this...I just knew there was a ton of support locally for SCX10 parts and then let my boys decide on the body style. They liked the Jeep (because they know I really want a big boy Jeep) and so I went with this one because it had a few upgraded parts like the light bar and CRC wheels.

CCxRC I am pretty sure axial 'designs' their cars to be upgraded and thats why there are so many hopup parts available. Best crawler/trail rigs for sure (-:
