It is exactly that! The Ryft is a chaos beast in a trail. And I like it. If I want to drive a precise rock crawler, I choose another truck for that task.

Axial should just pay you to do their videos. This was awesome.

Great editing, let's see how many broken hearts result in this Love Story that only shows the Good Times, at least the Kit has the advantage of using the electronics you choose. The thing that left me without a solution for over a month was stripped differentials, and no lockers, or replacement parts. Finally got Vitavon lockers, rebuilding this weekend.

The Trailing arm rails will keep them from folding up under all but the hardest landings, but will eventually fail at the Skid Plate. Shock Shafts are too weak and Bent shock shafts are a continuous point of failure. Angled rod ends are another constant point of failure. I am hearing less about axle failures, I have gone to Vitavon 7075 Aluminum F(w/Knuckles)&R as well as Trailing arms, Aluminum Links, Servo Protector, and Transmission housing. Hardened Front and Rear Axle shafts, and 3 Hardened Lockers From Vitavon. Hobbtwing ESC - XR8Pro, Motor - Xerun 4268SD G3 2200KV. Running a Dual Shock arrangement front and Rear Stock Shock Drooped & 120mm Desert Lizards, no sway bar. Will be back with Vitavon Aluminum Wheels and 2.2" Hyrax Predator front G8 Rear. I have a set of 2.8" belted Trenchers to try also.

I can't wait I'm building mine now takes me awhile but I got tekin 2300 and mamba x also reefs raw 500 is the servo I'm going with also the lockers to lock it up and I picked up a 13 tooth pinion trying to gear it down some

Well I guess the raw 500 doesn't run on 4s do you have a servo you suggest that runs 4s lipo reefs are all 3s max

If you think its mean out of the box wait until you get a 4274 from Holmes hobbies with a mamba x. Then add all of the vitavon parts! Right now I have everything they offer except for their axle shafts and links. I'll have them shortly though!

Really fancy a Ryft, although a couple of others were ahead in the queue. This edit may well have changed that list!

Top notch running video as always. Honestly, I think you have sold me a RYFT.

Wow! Now I’m interested in this Ryft. After seeing some reviews it looks like 3S power is the sweet spot. Just a little confused on the motor to get on this one. Will a brushless 3300KV crawler motor do?

One more question, it looks like it is almost a basher, control is sketchy, but very fun to point and shoot and watch the glory of speed. Is that a good description?

It's actually rather controllable in the air, more so than I was expecting. Less control than say, a Bomber, but much more power on tap.

Slow motion shots are a bit of a bait and switch. Not going to look that cool when you drive it. BUT....nice work, I know a lot of work went into the editing of this. Looked like a commercial for ryft

It's not all slow-motion, but it's honestly the best way to shoot a video.

Shouldnt watch your videos, tend to get ideas that are hazardous to my wallet
