I enjoy my Ryft. It's been a great learning experience. I've completely replaced the axles, electronics, wheels, hexes, and tires. Put well over $2k into it with upgrades and lights. I'm happy with it. Although I could have bought a few other great rc's with all that money spent.

Matt Good morning, didn't get a chance to watch the live stream last night. Was attending a hockey game, love that game. Got up early this morning to watch it whilst doing routine maintenance on a UDR and other things. Anyway great to hear your feeling better and back in the saddle. looking forward to your chat with Axial Rich. He seems like a good dude. I got a good laugh out of the licking 9V batteries comment. My mother has same vertigo issue, she was given a medication for it and she has been 100% better.

the anti-foams have inserts that can stiffen them up.
I finally pulled the trigger on a Ryft kit so I’ve went back through your videos on it and I must have missed your comment on everything has a price does that include that ole Ripper that just sets around? 😂

I wouldn't recommend it. It's meant to go fast and bounce up obstacles. Get a Bomber if you're looking for a 2.2 crawler!

What do you think about dyeing a capra cage gray?

Unless it's white or light grey to start, no chance. Black or Red plastic won't go grey.

No, that won’t work I’m afraid. You need a light starting plastic color like grey or white.

Upgrades and truck are GREAT! Definitely a different experience from Axial.

Stayed away from this video for awhile because had a bad experience with the RYFT, that after spending ridiculous amount of money, I have 2 and a Love for this RC. That said I would have a hard time recommending it to anyone.

If you must have a RYFT I would go with the kit, and your own electronics.

If you got a minute i was wondering what electronics you would use if you were going to try a u4 race with one of your ryfts. Ive been oit of the hobby for a long time and i need to pick a motor. The rules only have a 4s limit on packs, thats it. Cheers!
