I haven't had a chance to run mine yet since i finished the kit but it definitely sat way to high so i also pulled the springs out. Glad i came across your video of how the droop setup looks out on the rocks. I mounted up some RC4WD Goodyear MT/R tires using the hair donut idea so im really eager to get it out and try the whole setup once i decide on a radio.

I’m going to try that setup. It is the shock mod that makes more sense for strictly rock crawling. I believe without springs a longer shock may be used to max out flex, and oil weight will play a bigger role in the performance. Cant wait to try.

I did the same thing to my Everest 10, made a world of difference, gets a little wonky when trying to balance sideways but she is a climber!

I don’t know. The belly is too low sometimes, but the lower c/g seems a plus. I’ll have to try it.

Great crawling videos! Really enjoy watching them. Just curious, what colour did you paint your Capra? I swear it looks green in some shots/angles and then navy blue in others🤷‍♂️

So, no springs inside or out? And what weight oil are you running with this setup? I'm running 90mm desert lizards in droop mode with 30 weight oil and love em. Nice driving btw.

Thx for your nice feedback 😉👍 No springs in and out. I use 300 shockoil, but the shocks only filled 50% I drive this setup in a few more cars (Vaterra, Axial) Its incredible, but for me it really works good 😀👍

Have you tried other tires with this setup? Your setup seems to work great, other than a little bit of a struggle with the tires!! Are you using wheel weights? Or a rear lowering bracket from super shafty? People keep knocking the Capra, but you just proved them wrong!! Great driving!! Thank you!!

Thx for your nice feedback 😉👍 No , i dont tried other tires with this setup. On this Day it was 2°C degrees, the night was frozen and the rocks are very slippery. My tires have a lot of kilometres an are worn ( need new ones) 😀😀😀 Weights??? YES, inside on the rims. Shaftys is all stock. I see brocken Capras too. I think they have to much Power inside or/and a wrong transmission/Motor setup. My friends and me we have 5 Capras, but no one broke it and we really drive hard 😂👍
